"Extreme Makeover" (9 p.m., ABC): The Tennessee woman's jaw was so pronounced she couldn't speak clearly, and strangers assumed she had a learning problem. She was turned down for jobs and shunned by the community. She ended up living with her parents on a farm, away from most people. For most of her life, no one looked past her face to see who she really was. Now, with the return of "Extreme Makeover" (9 p.m. Monday, July 2, ABC), the world can see that Micha Snodderly is more than her appearance. At 31, she is living a new life, free of the constraints of the past. "Before the makeover, I was a bit resentful," she says. "But now, rather than looking at it in anger ... I am glad that this happened because it made me a stronger person." Like Snodderly, though, this episode of "Makeover" has had a difficult row to hoe as well. Originally slated to air a year ago, ABC pulled "Makeover" off the air because of low ratings. Now the network is looking to burn away the remaining new episodes of the show before shelving it completely. Now, Snodderly and her story are seeing the light of day.
"Hell's Kitchen" (9 p.m., Fox): The seven remaining contestants have to prepare a reception for a bride and groom who are extremely picky. As we all know, though, food is the most important detail on the day someone is getting married.
