Stambaugh Chorus Auditions. Those interested are asked to attend rehearsal from 7:30-9:30 p.m. Jan. 8 at Stambaugh Auditorium and to set up an audition appointment before Jan. 22. (330) 881-9517.
Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra. Auditions are ongoing for section strings: violin, viola, cello and bass are being held for the 2007-08 season. Rehearsals are Thursday evenings from 7:30 to 10 p.m. at the Tri-C's Metropolitan Campus Auditorium in downtown Cleveland. Audition requirements are one solo piece and one orchestral excerpt of your choice. Interested players should call the orchestra at (216) 556-1800, or visit www.clevephil.org.
