Niles man facing multiple charges
YOUNGSTOWN Police said an officer saw a pickup truck driven by Rick A. Boggs, 47, of Niles-Vienna Road, Niles, run through a stop sign at Raymond and Alameda avenues, and, after stopping the truck, found that Boggs' license had been suspended. As he was being taken into custody, officers noticed he had two small plastic bags in his mouth and he was ordered to spit them out. Both contained suspected crack cocaine, police said, adding that they also found a suspected crack pipe in his truck. He was charged around 7 p.m. Saturday with possession of drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving under suspension and held in Mahoning County jail pending arraignment today.
