Directors hire central office administrator
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. Wilmington School District directors have approved a new administrative position for the 2006-07 school year.
The board approved hiring Robert E. Kwiat at a salary of $79,500. He will be leaving the position of middle school principal in the Hermitage School District to serve Wilmington as a central office administrator.
Superintendent Dr. C. Joyce Nicksick said Kwiat will be aiding the district in curriculum, assessment and data analysis.
The board also approved hiring these teachers, aides and support staff for the 2006-2007 school year: Lori Cox, fourth grade; Emily Stock, fourth grade; Beth Telesz, special education aide; Marjorie Slonicker, special education aide; Cynthia Monaco, special education aide; Barbara Barrett, assistant cook; Tracey Gathers, food service; and Brandy Sandford, certified athletic trainer.
