Stadium shooter captured in Seattle



YOUNGSTOWN — A Youngstown man wanted in connection with the shooting death of another man at a Youngstown stadium during a peewee football came has been captured in Seattle.

A press conference was scheduled for 4:30 p.m. today at the police department to announce the capture of Anthony Caulton, 25.

He is accused in the Aug. 19 shooting of Larry D. Jones, 31, of Ravenwood Avenue who was shot multiple times at the former South High Stadium behind Eagle Heights Academy on the South Side. Jones was shot in the stands in front of hundreds of spectators while a peewee football game was in progress.

Caulton has been a fugitive since the shooting.
