Boardman man charged with public indecency
The same man was charged with a similar offense in 2003, and served 10 days in jail.
BOARDMAN Police arrested a West Boulevard man charged with public indecency after a woman reported a man masturbating in a car in the library lot.
Mark H. Wilson, 39, is charged with public indecency, resisting arrest and obstructing official business, all misdemeanors. He will appear in court today.
Last week, a 58-year-old woman from Canfield told police she was walking about 5:30 p.m. to her car in the parking lot of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County's township branch.
A man, seated in a car, tried to get her attention and appeared to be masturbating.
The woman went to her car and called 911. The man left the lot, but the woman got the license plate number.
The plate returned to Wilson, who also was charged with public indecency in 2003. He was sentenced to 10 days in the Mahoning County Jail after being convicted on that charge.
In that case, women had reported seeing Wilson, who sports a skull tattoo in the center of his forehead, standing nude in front of a window in his house performing a lewd act.
Arrested at home
Police went to Wilson's home on West Boulevard about 8 p.m. Saturday to arrest him in the latest incident. Wilson came to the door but wouldn't come outside, a police report said.
A police sergeant tried to grab Wilson's arm to lead him from the house, but Wilson pushed him away, the report said. The sergeant then fired a Taser gun, but Wilson closed the door, avoiding the contact.
After speaking with police, Wilson exited his house and was arrested. After being handcuffed, he started yelling, "I'm not going to jail," and tried to pull away from officers who used the Taser gun to subdue him.
Wilson again fought with officers as they tried to place him into the cruiser, the report said.
