YSU campus climate
Here's a look at responses to a sampling of an employee campus climate survey done by Youngstown State University last spring, showing percentages of respondents who agree, disagree or have no opinion on survey statements:
The university's statements of mission, vision, core values and organizational priorities, taken together, clearly and broadly define the organization's mission: Agree-74.4, Disagree-17.6, No opinion-7.8.
I support YSU's mission: Agree-78, Disagree-9.8, No opinion-11.6.
Increasing the representation of minorities among faculty and staff is a high priority at YSU: Agree: 66, Disagree-23, No opinion-9.8.
There is considerable campus racial conflict at YSU: Agree-17.6, Disagree-68.6, No opinion-12.8.
There is respect at YSU for expression of diverse values and beliefs: Agree-51.6, Disagree-43.2, No opinion-4.4.
Faculty and support staff have positive work relationships with each other: Agree: 80.4, Disagree-12.4, No opinion-6.8.
My immediate supervisor understands my concerns: Agree-77.2, Disagree-21.6, No opinion-1.2.
