CHURCH HISTORY Pilgrim Collegiate Church
1866: First Reformed Church officially formed and built a church on Wood Street in Youngstown.
1921: Built a new church at 322 Wick Ave., Youngstown, at a cost of $125,000 plus a pipe organ.
1950: First Reformed Church and Plymouth Congregational Church merge to form Pilgrim Collegiate Church, which remained on Wick Avenue.
1970: A $243,000 addition is dedicated providing classroom, nursery, social lounge and other space.
2000: Pilgrim Collegiate and Bethlehem United Church of Christ merge to form Faith Community Church on East Midlothian Boulevard, Youngstown. Wick Avenue church vacated at that time.
Today: New Beginnings Outreach Ministries leases the church for its programs and rents space to The Greater Youngstown Point, an agency serving the homeless.
