YOUNGSTOWN A 31-year-old Youngstown woman was arrested after she admitted to firing a handgun four times to scare children off her property.
Stephanie Brown, of Erie Street, was charged with four counts of aggravated menacing and discharging a firearm within city limits.
Police were called about 6 p.m. Sunday by a Pasadena Avenue man. He told police that Brown came to his house and said four children were destroying her Halloween decorations.
"I'm gonna shoot your kids if they come in my yard again," Brown said, according to reports. vLess than one minute after Brown left, the Pasadena Avenue man said he heard gunshots.
Brown told police, "I shot the gun, but I didn't shoot at them. I was just trying to scare them to stay off my property." She led police to a handgun in her home.
