Rebuilding costs: Youngstown City Schools
The city school district is replacing or remodeling 14 school buildings in a $180 million rebuilding program. Here's a look at the individual building construction costs, both those already completed and those on the drawing board. The numbers don't include any demolition or other related project costs:
Harding Elementary: $7.8 million.
Taft Elementary: $7.8 million.
West Elementary: $12.8 million.
Williamson Elementary: $7.3 million.
P. Ross Berry Middle: $14 million.
Kirkmere Elementary: $7.3 million.
Chaney High School: $25.5 million.
East High School: $30.1 million.
Choffin Career & Technical Center: $10.4 million (under construction).
Paul C. Bunn Elementary: $9.5 million (estimate).
North Elementary: $8.3 million (estimate).
Volney Rogers Middle: $10.7 million (estimate).
Wilson Middle: $10.5 million (estimate).
Rayen Middle: $7.2 million (estimate).
