Operation Christmas Child seeks aid for gifts
WARREN An international Christian relief organization is asking Mahoning Valley residents to help bring Christmas to children overseas.
Operation Christmas Child is seeking local families, churches, community groups, and businesses to take part in making shoe box gifts for needy children in more than 90 countries.
The operation asks participants to fill shoe boxes with toys, necessity items, school supplies, handwritten notes of encouragement and photos.
Participants can then drop off the shoe boxes at various location in Trumbull and Mahoning counties. Anyone wanting a full list of drop-off locations should visit the Trumbull County Operation Christmas Child Web site at http://www.Trumbull-

A project of Samaritan's Purse, an international Christian relief organization, Operation Christmas Child has hand-delivered shoe-box gifts to more than 38 million children in about 120 countries since 1993.
