Two men arrested in kidnapping of woman
WARREN Two city men are under arrest in connection with kidnapping a woman, who was tied up and beaten Sunday night.
Danny B. Parker II, 19, of West Market Street, and Norman L. Morgan Jr., 20, of Tod Avenue Northwest, are in Trumbull County Jail on charges of felonious assault and kidnapping.
The 19-year-old woman called police and said she had been beaten and tied up by the men.
The woman said she went to Parker's residence at 10:43 p.m. when the two men grabbed her and took her to the basement, a police report said.
The men then tied the woman to a chair and beat her with an unknown object. When the men left for a short time, she said, she was able to free herself and climb out a window.
Police went to Parker's home where they found the two men. A witness confirmed the woman's statements, according to police.
