July 24
Theft: A woman who resides at a home in the 200 block of Bradford Drive reported to police she believes a Tiffany & Co. bracelet with letters engraved in a specific font was replaced with a fake in her jewelry box. She told police the piece was valued at $174.41 and was a gift and she wants the original back.
July 26
Marijuana pipe: A homeowner in the 500 block of Blueberry Hollow Drive found a makeshift marijuana pipe in his back yard. Police confirmed the pipe had marijuana residue in it and logged it into evidence.
July 28
Criminal mischief: The owner of a home under construction in the 20 block of Savannah Court report two divots were made in concrete in the garage area with a pickax and three vertical heating ducts had dents in them. The owner said the house was left open the day before for installation of garage doors.
July 24
Theft from auto: A wallet was stolen from a vehicle in the 2000 block of Innwood Street.
Theft: $11,067 in cash and merchandise was stolen from Lou's Beer and Wine, 2975 S. Canfield-Niles Road.
Attempted robbery: An attempted carjacking was reported in the parking lot at Great Cuts, 4435 Mahoning Ave.
Theft from vehicle: $20 was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a home in the 4000 block of Crabwood Drive.
Criminal damaging: Someone spray-painted the outside of Lynn Kirk Elementary School, 4211 Evelyn Road.
Breaking and entering: Computer towers and keyboards were stolen from Davis Elementary School, 4305 Maple Ave., during a break-in.
Breaking and entering: No forced entry was reported but a computer was stolen at the rental office for Westchester Apartments, 4815 Westchester Drive.
Vandalism: A delivery truck window was broken out with rocks at a home in the 70 block of Maple Drive.
Theft: Money was taken by an employee at the at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Drug offense: A woman from North Jackson was arrested at Trax Lounge, 4250 New Road, and charged with drug abuse of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Receiving stolen property: A Warren man was accused of receiving a stolen van and a Niles woman was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia at the TA Travel Center, 5400 Seventy-Six Drive.
Criminal damaging: Two vehicles were damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Meanderwood Drive.
Theft: $5,100 cash in an envelope was stolen from a home in the 60 block of Country Green.
July 25
Burglary: Entry was gained through the living room window, and a purse was stolen at an apartment in the 4000 block of Westchester Apartments.
July 26
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Orchard Hill Drive.
Burglary: A computer was stolen at an apartment in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road. Entry was gained through a patio door.
Drug offense: A woman from Mineral Ridge was arrested in the 5000 block of West Webb Road on charges of drug abuse, possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Drug offense: A Canfield man was charged with possession of marijuana and drug abuse in the 1000 block of Canfield-Niles Road.
Theft from auto: A purse was stolen from an auto at a home in the 1000 block of Innwood Street.
Burglary: An orange bike was taken at a home in the 2000 block of Redgate Lane.
Theft: A surveyor pin was taken at a home in the 2000 block of Redgate Lane.
Criminal damaging: A mailbox was damaged at a home in the 400 block of South Raccoon Road.
July 27
Criminal damaging: Three vehicles were damaged in the 60 and 100 blocks of Howard Avenue.
July 28
Criminal damaging: A tent was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Ayrshire Drive.
Theft: A tarp was taken from a trailer in the 5000 block of Seventy-Six Drive.
Theft from auto: A brown purse was stolen from an auto at Austintown Middle School, 5800 Mahoning Ave.
Theft: Money was taken from a home in the 5000 block of Nashua Drive.
July 29
Criminal damaging: A window was broken on an Orval Excavating truck at Spring Lake Villa, 125 Fitch Blvd.
Lost or stolen trailer: A trailer was left at an undetermined location in the county by a terminated employee from Falcon Transportation, 650 N. Meridian Road.
Drug offense: Two men were arrested on drug charges at the Ice House Inn, 5516 W. Webb Road. An Austintown man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, and a Mineral Ridge man was charged with possession of marijuana.
Theft: A prescription was stolen from an apartment in the 800 block of North Meridian Road.
Theft from auto: Cash, credit cards and a cell phone were stolen from an auto in the 1000 block of Raspberry Lane.
Criminal damaging: A trampoline was damaged at a home in the 3000 block of Elmwood Avenue.
Resisting arrest: A man was charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest after an auto crash in the 4000 block of Wedgewood Drive.
Theft: The rear license plate was stolen from a vehicle in the township.
July 30
Drug offense: A Niles woman was arrested at Noday's, 3712 Oakwood Ave., on a charge of possession of marijuana.
Theft: An 18-speed bicycle was stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive.
Theft: Three bicycles were taken from a home in the 4000 block of Rhode Island Drive.
Criminal damaging: A vehicle window was damaged at a home in the 2000 block of Hamman Drive.
Burglary: A woman reported her home had been burglarized for the third time in three months in the 4000 block of Woodhurst Drive. Items found in a neighbor's garage believed to have been stolen from the home included miscellaneous food items, a floor lamp, a garden hose reel, a Gateway computer, monitor and keyboard and Snoopy snow machine. No charges have been filed.
Auto theft: A 1996 Mercury Marquis was stolen from Phoenix House, 850 N. Meridian Road.
Obstructing official business: A man was charged with obstructing official business, resisting arrest and driving under suspension at Meridian and Bears Den roads.
