LIBERTY

Nov. 8

Theft: The front license plate was taken off a vehicle at Forum Health, 3551 Belmont Ave.

Fraud: A Ravine Drive woman reported that her automated-teller-machine card was missing and that four unauthorized withdrawals totaling about $287 were made from her bank account.

Theft: A man in the 1900 block of Oriel-Rogers Road reported a 9 mm semiautomatic firearm missing from a cupboard.

Theft: A Fifth Avenue woman accused a 43-year-old Youngstown man of leaving her residence with her purse.

Nov. 9

Arrest: After stopping a vehicle near Goldie Road, authorities arrested a Youngstown man, 20, wanted on a warrant charging him with probation violation.

Arrests: Police picked up a 23-year-old man and a 35-year-old woman, both of Youngstown, at the Mahoning County jail. The man was wanted on various traffic warrants; the woman was wanted on a warrant from Liberty charging her with two counts of theft.

Nov. 10

Drug paraphernalia: While making a traffic stop on state Route 193, officers arrested a 33-year-old Austintown man after saying they found a suspected crack pipe. He was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and several traffic offenses.

Arrest: A Youngstown woman, 32, was taken into custody on a warrant charging her with contempt of court after being pulled over in the 3800 block of Belmont Avenue.

Criminal damaging/criminal trespassing: A Masury woman reported someone kicked holes in two walls at a Trumbull Court residence, tossed food on the floor and emptied clothing from a dresser.

Nov. 11

Arrest: Police charged an 18-year-old Youngstown man with failure to comply with police and operating a vehicle under the influence after officers say they investigated a suspicious vehicle near Belmont Avenue and that the driver refused to pull over.

Arrest: Niles authorities handed over to Liberty police a 22-year-old Niles woman wanted on a warrant from Liberty. Charges against her were driving under the influence, having no operator's license and failing to appear for a violation-of-protection hearing.

Menacing: A man in the 3000 block of Frederick Street told officers a neighbor, 58, threatened him with bodily harm over money owed.

Nov. 12

Possible theft: A Girard man reported his cellular phone lost or stolen while at Murray's Sports Pub, 5718 Belmont Ave.

Nov. 13

Identity theft: An Oriel-Rogers Road woman discovered six accounts had been opened using her name, Social Security number and date of birth.

Identity theft: A Sampson Drive woman told police that she received calls from creditors and collection agencies asking for a man, and that she later found out when she tried to buy a cellular phone that the man's name was connected to her Social Security number.

Aggravated menacing: A Dailey Avenue man told police a Niles man, 22, threatened to come to his home and harm him.

Burglary: A Youngstown man staying at the Tallyho-tel, 4249 Belmont Ave., reported someone kicked in the door to his room, entered and stole a $100 scanner and a radio charger.

Arrest: After responding to the Tallyho-tel regarding a man who refused to leave, officers picked up the 35-year-old Youngstown man when they realized he was wanted on a warrant charging him with failure to appear to face a criminal-trespassing charge.
