The weather was perfect for some chalk artwork on the sidewalks around Courthouse Square in Warren. Above, Amanda Mecozzi, 18, of Warren, added the finishing touches Friday to her chalk drawing of a monklike figure. She said she decided to enter the contest one more year before heading to college in the fall to study architecture. She placed third in the competition. At left, Michael Harrington, 3, takes his time to work on his masterpiece. His grandmother entered him in the chalk competition, which was open to children of all ages.
