Woman dies in accident at Ohio glass factory
ROSSFORD, Ohio (AP) A woman at a glass factory was killed in an accident Friday, authorities said.
April Waxler, 30, of Toledo, was dead by the time emergency crews arrived at Pilkington North America about 2:50 p.m., according to a statement by the Rossford Police Department.
No further details were released. The accident remains under investigation.
Calls seeking comment from a company spokeswoman went unanswered Friday night.
The Pilkington plant, a few miles south of Toledo, is part of Pilkington Group Ltd. of Britain, a global company that makes glass for cars and buildings.
