Emma Louise Beckett

LOUISVILLE – Emma Louise Beckett passed away Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at St. Joseph Care Center after a lengthy illness.

Louise was born Feb. 10, 1920 in Russell, Ky. to Olga and Theodore Franz. She resided in Ohio for many years.

Louise loved playing the piano and caring for her little dog, Issa.

She is survived by her son, Timm (Lue) Perkins; grandsons, Todd (Paula) Perkins and Tedd (Amanda) Perkins; great-grandchildren, Emilie, Sydney and Trevor Perkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Carl Franz; and her husband, Forest Beckett.

As she desired, she will be cremated and a private Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Joseph Care Center in Louisville.

The family would like to send love, special thanks and prayers to the staff of St. Joseph Assisted Living and Care Center for the compassion and care shown to Louise while she was in residence. She felt as though you were part of her family.


Robert Raymond “Fuzzy” Frazzini Jr., 47

WEST MIDDLESEX, PA. – Robert Raymond “Fuzzy” Frazzini Jr., 47, of Riggs Road in Shenango Township, was pronounced dead at UPMC - Farrell at 3:45 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6, 2007. His death had been suddenly due to natural causes.

Born Nov. 6, 1959, he was the son of the late Robert Raymond Frazzini Sr. and Joanne Marie Safranic Frazzini.

He was employed by Lenny’s Homes Sales, West Middlesex where he worked as service manager and driver.

Mr. Frazzini was deeply devoted to the sport of softball and very active in coaching girl’s softball for more than 15 years including the West Middlesex “Little Girls.” He also coached for eight years at the Thunderplex located in Vienna. He was currently coaching the Thunder Elite. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

He was a member of the West Middlesex United Methodist Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Gina Frazzini, Angela Frazzini and Bobbi Lynn Frazzini, all of West Middlesex; his mother, Joanne Schnider of Wheatland, Pa.; a friend, “Red” Thompson of West Middlesex; two sisters, Beverly and husband Joe Russo of Phoenix and Julie and companion James Klingensmith of Hermitage, Pa.; two brothers, Michael and wife Terri Keith of Indianapolis and Raymond and wife Debbie Frazzini of Hubbard; and a grandson, Justin.

He was preceded in death by his father, and stepfather, Andy Schnider.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2007 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Smith Funeral Home, 3126 Main St. in West Middlesex where a funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Reverend James W. Kimmell, pastor of the West Middlesex United Methodist Church officiating.

Interment will be at Haywood Cemetery.


Ursula M. Gann, 77

CANFIELD – There will be a memorial service at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Canfield Chapel for Ursula M. Gann, 77, who passed away Saturday morning at Forum Northside Medical Hospital in Youngstown.

Ursula was born June 20, 1929 in Einbeck, Germany, the daughter of Karl and Elizabeth (Knappe) Schwartzmann.

A seamstress, Ursula retired from the Weatherby Coat Company.

She leaves her daughter, Gabriele Miranda with whom she made her home; four grandchildren, Eva Miller of Berlin Center, Tania Miranda, Kristina Neapolitan and Alex Miranda, all of Canfield; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Gann, whom she married April 12, 1952.

Mary Elizabeth

Kugler, 68

EAST PALESTINE – Mary Elizabeth Kugler, 68, of 2258 state Route 165, died at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at St. Elizabeth Health Center with her children at her side.

She was born Dec. 5, 1938 in Salem, daughter of Clarence and Susie Felger Black and had lived in East Palestine all of her life.

She had been a waitress at the former Bulldog restaurant and then a clerk for Vittle Village at Unity.

Mrs. Kugler was a charter member of Unity Fire Department Auxiliary.

Her husband, Richard M. Kugler, whom she married July 14, 1956, died April 11, 1989.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Cindy) Green of East Palestine; three sons, Richard A. Kugler, Jeffery (Charlene) Kugler, and Timothy (Barbara) Kugler, all of East Palestine; two brothers, Carl Black of East Palestine and James Dugan of Dallas; four grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and nine step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Lois Snyder and Grace Weber; and a brother, Richard Black

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Warrick-Kummer Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Columbiana Cemetery.

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
