Ann Danylchak, 83

CAMPBELL – Ann Danylchak, 83, of Neoka Drive, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday morning, June 24, 2008, at her daughter’s home in White Post, Va.

Ann was born Aug. 24, 1924 in Ukraine, a daughter of the late Dmytro and Tacyanna Kostunik, and came to the United States and Campbell in 1949.

She was a member of the Holy Trinity Ukrainian Catholic Church, its St. Anne Guild, and a volunteer for the parish pyrohy project.

Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.

She leaves three daughters, Ann Marie (Andrew) Profanchik of Boardman, Kathy (Michael) Kratofil of White Post, and Patty (Joseph) Ramunno of Canton; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Her husband, John Danylchak, whom she married July 15, 1945, died Aug. 29, 2002. A brother, Wasyl Kostunycz; and a stepsister, Monica Kostunycz, are also deceased.

Family and friends may call from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2008, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road in Youngstown, where a panichida will be held at 10:45 a.m.

Funeral services will take place at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Michael Byzantine Catholic Church on Robinson Road in Campbell.

Interment will follow at St. John’s Cemetery.

Jeanette Dillard, 61

YOUNGSTOWN – Services will be Monday at noon at the Calvary Ministries Int., for Mrs. Jeanette Dillard, 61, who entered eternal rest on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at Hospice House.

Mrs. Dillard was born July 31, 1946 in Soperton, Ga., the daughter of Clarence Freeman and Estella Sapp, coming to this area as a child.

She was a 1964 graduate of The Rayen School.

An entrepreneur, she was theowner/operator of Dillard’s Drapery, specializing in drapery making, and other seamstress work.

She was a member of the Calvary Ministries Int., its usher ministry, Sunday school teacher for the women’s class and planning committee.

She was also a presiding judge for the Mahoning County Board of Elections.

Jeanette enjoyed bowling, golfing, interior decorating and had a passion for art.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory, her loving husband, Hugh, whom she married May 18, 1973; three children, Tierney Woodruff of Youngstown, Marcus H. Dillard of Atlanta, and Stuart Keith Dillard of Columbus; three sisters, Lucille Winlock of Youngstown, Rosa Barron of Columbus, and Essie Sapp of Atlanta; three grandchildren; and a host of family and friends.

Her parents, and four sisters, Estelle, Bernice, Bernadine, and Patricia all preceded her in death.

Friends may call Monday from 10 a.m. to noon at the church.

Shirley J. Guzaski, 58

BOARDMAN – There will be funeral services on Saturday, June 28, at 11 a.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home, 4221 Market St. in Boardman for Shirley J. Guzaski, 58, who died Wednesday afternoon at St. Elizabeth Health Center, Boardman Campus.

She was born Dec. 24, 1949 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Charles D. and June Louise Copeland Snyder Jr.

She was a 1968 graduate of Boardman High School and was a operator with Infocision in Austintown, and had previously worked at Rondinelli Cleaners.

She was a member of the New Springfield V.F.W.

Shirley is survived by her fiance, Robert Crish of Boardman; a son, Shaun R. (Mary) Guzaski of Campbell; a daughter, Kimberlea A. Guzaski of Youngstown; a brother, Charles D. (Terri) Snyder of Warren; a sister, Barbara (Jack) Hudson of Boardman; two grandchildren, John R. Guzaski and Kaylee Guzaski.

Besides her parents, Shirley was preceded in death by her former husband, John R. Guzaski.

Friends may call today from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Margaret Jolanda Hubbard, 87

HUBBARD – Memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 28, 2008 at 3 p.m. at 3965 Knapp Ave. in Hubbard, for Mrs Margaret Jolanda Hubbard, 87, who departed this life Saturday, Jun 21, 2008 at her home.

Mrs. Hubbard was born June 28, 1920 in Youngstown, the daughter of James and Mattie Jones.

She had worked with the Trumbull County Board of Elections as a poll worker for many years, and was a homemaker.

She was a member of the Alpha & Omega First Baptist Church and the Golden Circle Neighborhood Organization.

Her husband, George L. Sr., whom she married in 1938, passed away April 15, 1982.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Rudolph Hubbard of Florida; a brother, Robert Stewart of Columbus; 10 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren, other family and friends.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, George Hubbard Jr.; a sister, Inez Davis; and two brothers, Willie and Johnnie Jones.
