Eva Bobala, 93
NORTH LIMA There will be at 11 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 1 at St. Michael Church, 281 Glenview Drive in Canfield, for Eva Bobala, 93, who passed away Saturday afternoon, June 28.
Eva was born March 22, 1915 in San Benedetto, Italy, the daughter of Vincenzo and Carmele (Caruso) Saturnino. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing in the card club with her friends.
Her husband, Louis L. Bobala, whom she married in Sept. of 1940, passed away in July of 1982.
She will always be remembered by her loving nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carmele Ruscello and Michelina Bisio; and her brother, Daniel Saturnino.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.
The family would also like to thank the doctors and staff at The Assumption Village for their compassionate care given to Eva during her time there.

Roger A. Bumgardner, 64
NORTH JACKSON Roger A. Bumgardner, 64, passed away Saturday morning at his home.
He was born March 19, 1944 in Hartford, a son of the late George A. and Mary L. (McHenry) Bumgardner.
He was a tow motor operator for General Refractories in Champion until 1994 and retired from Kaufmans in North Jackson.
Roger enjoyed watching NASCAR, woodworking, playing cards, cheering for the Cleveland Browns, and attending car shows.
He is survived by his wife, the former Linda Treharne, whom he married Aug. 1, 1981; one daughter, Tracy Bumgardner and her fiance, DJ Kirtley of North Jackson; two sisters, Lucille Baldwin of Phoenix and Leona Derr of Orangeville, Pa.; and one brother, Ted (Nancy) Bumgardner of Warren.
Besides his parents, Roger was preceded in death by a son, Roger Albert Bumgardner Jr.; and a sister, Olive Schank.
Family will receive friends at their home, 2135 S. Duck Creek Road, North Jackson, OH 44451 from 3 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday.

Randy L. Tank Fink, 51
WARREN Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Randy L. Tank Fink, 51, who died Saturday morning in Trumbull Memorial Hospital surrounded by his loving family.
Randy was born Sept. 4, 1956 in Youngstown the son of Lester and Marcia (Handwork) Fink and moved to Warren from Austintown 23 years ago.
Randy retired from Packard Electric in 2006, where he had worked over 20 years. He was a design engineer. He also had 20 U.S. Patents and two Defensive Publications, was a Bronze member of the Delphi Inventors Hall of Fame and a member of the Delphi Packard Wall of Fame. He was a long time member of the Austintown Baptist Church, graduate of Fitch High School in 1974 and coached Little Falcon Football for two years.
He is survived by his mother, Marcia of Austintown; brothers, Roger (Tina) Fink of Coitsville, and Richard (Debby) Fink of Austintown; four nieces; two nephews; six great-nieces; three great-nephews; his companion, Pauline Krepps and her two children; and four grandchildren.
Randy was preceded in death by his father, Lester.
Family and friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Melvin D. Gregory Sr., 81
YOUNGSTOWN Funeral services will be at noon on Wednesday at the First Calvary Baptist Church for Melvin D. Gregory Sr., 81, who departed this life Thursday at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mr. Gregory was born Feb. 6, 1927 in Youngstown, a son of James and Mary L. Austin Gregory.
He had worked for Republic Steel and Youngstown Sheet and Tube Co. He was an honorary deacon and trustee of Ebenezer Baptist Church and also a member of the male chorus.
Mr. Gregory served in the U.S. Army during WWII and the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict.
He leaves his children, Melvin (Sharine) Gregory Jr., Charles (Sharron) Butler, Marietta Dumas and Ivory (Charles) Jones, all of Youngstown, Renee Neal of Elgin, Ill., and Thomas (Joellen) Rudolph of Beaver Falls, Pa.; sister-in-law Lillian Gregory of Youngstown; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
