Robert E. Clark, 27
YOUNGSTOWN Services will be Monday at noon at the L.E. Black, Phillips and Holden Funeral Home for Mr. Robert E. Clark, 27, of Columbus, formerly of Youngstown whose sunset on June 2, 2009.
Mr. Clark, who was lovingly known as Cleez was born July 28, 1981 in Youngstown, a son of Robert L. and Cynthia Cashwell Clark.
He was a 1999 graduate of The Rayen School. He served in the U.S. Air Force for four years and also served in the war in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Robert is survived by his father, Robert L. Clark of Youngstown; his daughter, Kanaija Clark of Youngstown; grandmother, Georgianna Fultz of Youngstown; three sisters, Victoria L. Cashwell of Fayetteville, N.C., Tiffany N. Clark of Olmsted Falls and Natasha Clark of Youngstown; three brothers, Antwan Grissett, Robert L. Clark, Jr. and Steven Clark, all of Youngstown; a special friend, Charley Howard of Youngstown; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia A. Cashwell-Clark; grandmother, Annie Mae Clark; grandfathers, R. B. Clark and E. L. Fletcher.
Friends may call Monday from 11 a.m. to noon at the funeral home.
Larry Dennis-Thompson, 58
YOUNGSTOWN Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Belmont Park Cemetery for Larry Dennis-Thompson, 58, who departed this life Friday, May 29, 2009, at his residence.
Mr. Dennis-Thompson was born Nov. 17, 1950, in Youngstown, a son of Essie and Moleatha Brown Dennis, and reared by Percy and Katie Thompson.
He was a walking minister and a member of the Union Baptist Church.
He leaves two daughters, Larinda and Mariam Dennis, both of Youngstown and siblings, Gerald Richardson of Brewton, Ala., Linda Carter of Youngstown and Gregory and Denise Dennis, both of Charleston.

Bernadine Kachelries, 83
BOARDMAN Bernadine Kachelries, 83, formerly of Howland Township, died at 9:25 a.m. Friday, June 5, 2009, at Beeghly Oaks Care Center.
She was born July 24, 1925 in Warren, the daughter of Everett and Jane (Trimbath) Collins.
A Warren area resident for most of her life, Bernadine was employed by the Robbins Theater, Brooks Clothing, Carols Style Center, and for 35 years by Abrahams Clothing Store in downtown Warren, retiring in 1980.
She formerly attended the Howland Community Church and was a member of the Red Hat Society, and SCOPE. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo, dancing, bowling and crafts.
Her husband of 53 years, James W. Kachelries, whom she married Feb. 26, 1955, preceded her in death Sept. 26, 2008. She also was preceded in death by her parents and a son-in-law, John Gates in 2005, and a brother, Kenneth Collins.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah Eddy of Boardman and Sharon Gates of Wellsville; a son, James L. Kachelries of North Lima; two granddaughters, Erin and Katlyne Marks; and two great-grandchildren, Gabby and Trissy Gilmer. Also surviving is a brother, Harold Godfrey of Kentucky.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, June 8, 2009, at the Roberts-Clark Chapel, where friends will be received from 11 a.m. until service time. The Rev. Dr. Brian Byrne will officiate.
Interment will be at Crown Hill Burial Park.

Mary Frances Keshock, 47
CANFIELD A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Michaels Church in Canfield for Mary Frances Keshock, 47, who died Thursday evening after a courageous battle with leukemia at Cleveland Clinic.
Mary Frances was born July 20, 1961 in Youngstown, the daughter of Edward and Mary (Maskulka) Crepage.
She had been a registered nurse working at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital, Beeghly Urgent Care and last worked as a clinical supervisor at Homecare With Heart. She was a member of St. Michaels Church in Canfield, St. George Croatian Lodge No. 66 in Youngstown and was music co-coordinator for Happy Heart Tamburitzans.
Mary Frances is survived by her two children, Marisa and Nicholas Keshock, both at home; her mother of Poland; a sister, Barbara (Dick) Oleksa- Reiss of Kent; and two brothers, Edward Crepage Jr. of Austintown and Dr. Richard (Ruth) Crepage of Concord, Ohio.
Mary Frances was preceded in death by her father.
Friends may call at the Lane Funeral Home-Canfield Chapel from 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

Genevieve V. Meshot, 92
HUBBARD Genevieve V. Meshot, 92, of Park Vista Retirement Community, formerly of Hubbard, gently and peacefully passed away in her sleep on Thursday, June 4, 2009.
Miss Meshot was born in Hubbard on June 17, 1916, a daughter of Anthony and Mary Grace Porfilio Meshot.
She was a lifelong Hubbard resident until moving to the Park Vista Retirement Community in June of 2000 and was a member of St. Patrick Church of Hubbard and its Auxiliary Legion of Mary.
Genevieve was a 1934 graduate of Hubbard High School and a graduate of both Youngstown College and Western Reserve University.
Miss Meshot worked as a clerk at the Hubbard Public Library from the time the library was established in 1937 to 1950. She then worked for the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County for almost 30 years, retiring in 1979.
She was a member of the American Library Association, Youngstown State University Alumni Association and the Public Employees Retirees.
She leaves to cherish her memory many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; greatgreat-nieces and nephews; and cousins, along with many longtime friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Rose M. Scott and Fannie Meshot; and four brothers, Louis, Felix, Dominic and James Meshot.
Her niece, Margie Kohl would like to thank all involved in Gens life and care, her family and friends, the doctors, the Park Vista Retirement Community staff, especially Marva, Bev, Danielle, the midnight nursing staff and Joe and the maintenance staff. Also, Comfort Keepers of Youngstown and all their caregivers, especially Sharyn, Fannie, Vickie, Deneen, Valerie, Karen, Yvonne, Darnell and Sheila.
Funeral services will be held on Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Church.

Eva Marie Reves, 80
STRUTHERS Eva Marie Reves, 80, died June 3, 2009.
Mrs. Reves was born July 21, 1928 in Farrell, Pa., a daughter of Rade and Pauline Millich Jankovich.
She was a 1946 graduate of Farrell High School. Prior to her marriage, she worked for the Sharon Store in Sharon, Pa.
She was a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers and the SNF Serbian Lodge. Mrs. Reves took great pride in taking care of her house and her family. She was also an avid Cleveland Cavaliers fan and enjoyed rooting them on as she watched them on television.
She leaves her husband, John Reves, whom she married May 10, 1952; her daughter, Donna Lynn Reves of Struthers; her son, David Reves of Mount Laurel, N.J.; a sister, Catherine Jankovich of Hermitage, Pa.; a brother, Sam (Rose) Jankovich of Farrell; a nephew, Dr. Peter (Connie) Jankovich Jr. of Mercer, Pa.; a great-nephew, Jeffrey Jankovich of Arlington, Va.; and a great-niece, Allison Jankovich of Springfield, Va.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Peter Jankovich Sr. and his wife, Alice Jankovich.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:15 a.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home in Poland and 11 a.m. at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery in Lowellville.
Family and friends will be received Sunday from 3 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

George T. Roberts, 77
NAPLES, FLA George T. Roberts, 77, passed away June 4, 2009. He had been a resident of Naples for the past 13 years, having moved from Canfield.
George was an honorably discharged veteran of the U. S. Air Force, having served during the Korean War, and had worked as an insurance executive prior to retirement.
George is survived by his loving wife, Kathryn (Gintert) of Naples; his son, Thomas G. Roberts of Provincetown, Mass.; daughter, Cynthia L. (Gene) Fehr of Canfield; and three grandchildren, Kathryn Fehr of Columbus, Natalie (Bryan) Kay of Chagrin Falls and Dr. Adrienne Fehr of Wilmington, N.C.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Clarence and Hattie Roberts.

Paul F. Sevachko, 65
CANFIELD Paul F. Sevachko, 65, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, June 4, 2009, at his home.
Paul was born July 12, 1943 in Youngstown, a son of Stephen and Rose Zavatsky Sevachko, and was a lifelong area resident.
He was a 1961 graduate of Ursuline High School, and served for 4-and-a-half years in the U.S. Navy as a radioman.
After serving in the military, Paul was a fourth-generation cabinet-maker. He was a journeyman with Carpenters Local No. 171, and was a master craftsman at Store Engineering before becoming an independent cabinet-maker.
Mr. Sevachko was a lifelong member of St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church and was very active in the local Byzantine Catholic community, generously donating his time and talents to several local parishes.
Paul was an avid gardener and loved being outdoors, woodworking, and vacationing in Ocean Isle Beach, N.C. with his family. Paul also loved math, telling stories and jokes, and was always the last one to be seen leaving a party.
An avid Ohio State Buckeye football fanatic, he was affectionately known as Buckeye Paul, for his cigar-smoking, Blatz-drinking, enthusiastic support of the OSU team.
Without a doubt, he will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Mr. Sevachko leaves his beloved wife, Ruth Bishop Sevachko, whom he married Sept. 13, 1968; three daughters, Julie (Jeff) Clark of Columbus, Phyllis Sevachko and Alena Sevachko, both of New York City; his mother, Rose Sevachko of Youngstown; a granddaughter, Katie Clark of Columbus; two brothers, Dr. Gerald Sevachko of Poland and Mark (Sharon) Sevachko of Las Cruces, New Mexico; and three sisters, Elaine (Doug) Winner of Erie, Pa., Cynthia (Joseph) Reed of Boardman, and Rebecca (Robert) Toman of Ellsworth.
His father, and a son, Phillip Sevachko, are deceased.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, June 7, at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road in Youngstown, where a Panachida will be held at 3:30 p.m.
Funeral services will begin on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, and continue at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Church on S. Belle Vista Ave. in Youngstown.
Interment will follow at the parish cemetery.

Elvina Skinny Tareshawty
POLAND Elvina Skinny Tareshawty of Jupiter, Fla. and Poland, passed away on June 4, 2009 at Hospice House, surrounded by her family, after a courageous five year battle with neurovascular disease. She was 78 years old.
She born in Youngstown on Aug. 3, 1930, a daughter of Lucia Saccorsi and Sante DAppollonio.
Skinny lived in Youngstown for 58 years before moving to Poland in 1990. She was a 1949 graduate of The Rayen School.
She married her high school sweetheart, Eugene Tareshawty on June 30, 1951 and they created their much loved family.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Eugene; her four children, Sandra Williamson, Darlene Heckman of Mesquite, Nev., Camille (John Kyd) Tareshawty of Hermosa Beach, Calif. and Dr. Eugene Jr. (Rebecca) Tareshawty; her loving sister-in-law, Veneta Tareshawty; and her grandchildren, Lisa McCann, John Micheal Pushcar, Charles Tareshawty, Jennifer Tareshawty, Tyler Heckman and Angela Heckman. She also leaves her brother, Joseph (Julie) Dapple of North Borough, Mass. and four great-grandsons.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Angelo DAppollonio and a niece, Gloria Jean Tentes.
Skinny loved her family and was a master cookie maker. She was an avid golfer at Oaktree Country Club and at Fonderlac Country Club. She was a member of La Petite Fleur Garden Club and Liberty Belles Garden Club. She also was a member of St. Monicas Guild of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, St. Edwards Confraternity of Christian Mothers and the Auxiliary of the Oblate Sisters of the Sacred Heart. She was a member of the Ohio Society of Professional Engineers Womens Auxiliary and Womens Auxiliary of the Youngstown Jaycees.
Skinny generously contributed her time and boundless energy toward charitable organizations. She was active with St. Elizabeth Health Center, serving as chairman of the annual Junior Guild Christmas Charity Ball. She was a member of the Youngstown Symphony Guild and chaired the Youngstown Symphony Ball and Dream Makers. She then became a charter member of the Angel of Easter Seals in 1977, and was a driving force behind the Angels cookbook projects. She was the president of the Angels in 1993, and chaired the Festival of Trees for several years, helping to increase their charitable income to new levels. In 1992, she was voted YWCA Woman of the Year. She occasionally cooked supper for her husband.

Donald Don Dickson Whiting, 91
EDINBURG, PA Donald Don Dickson Whiting, 91, of 2423 Garner Road, died Thursday, June 4, 2009, at 1:02 a.m. at his residence.
Don was born Aug. 20, 1917, the son of David Laird and Carol Dickson Whiting in Coitsville.
He married the former Madge Maxine Neely on Oct. 29, 1945. She survives.
Next to God and his family, he was really dedicated to farming all of his lifetime. He also worked for Valley Freight Line and was a school bus contractor for 17 years for the Wilmington area schools. He had many fond memories of the children he bussed to school and their various activities.
He was a 1936 graduate of New Castle High School. He was a charter member of the Nashua Orthodox Presbyterian Church and attended the Pulaski Presbyterian Church, where he was an elder and trustee.
He was a former member of Wilmington Grange, Wilmington Lodge No. 804 F.&A.M. and the Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite Valley of New Castle. He formerly served on the Wilmington School Board.
Survivors include his wife, Madge and four sons, David and his wife, Patsy, John and his wife, Marilyn, Laird and his wife, Joyce and Joseph and his wife, Linda. He really enjoyed his 14 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Leise and a brother, Robert and Francis Whiting.
Visitation will be Sunday, June 7, 2009 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Smith Funeral Home in Wilmington, 310 W. Neshannock Ave.
The funeral will be at the Smith Funeral Home in New Wilmington on Monday, June 8, 2009 at 11 a.m.
The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice for the wonderful care and compassion they received for Don. They truly were angels.
