Robert H. Evans (Faheem Bilal), 60
BEDFORD HEIGHTS There will be a memorial celebration service in Youngstown on Sunday, July 19, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Park Vistas Gathering Room, located at 1216 Fifth Ave. for Robert H. Evans, 60, who passed away June 9, 2009, at James A. Haley VA Hospital in Tampa, Fla.
A graveside service with military honors was held June 25, at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla.
Robert Evens was born May 11, 1949 in Youngstown, to James and Nettie Evans. He grew up on the Southside of Youngstown, graduating from South High School and attended Youngstown State University.
He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, where he received honors. He later joined the Muslim faith, taking the name Faheem Bilal.
In the 1970s, Faheem helped to manage a singing group called Ice Cold Love. He and his wife catered and owned a successful lunch counter called Grass Routes in downtown Youngstown.
He was a loving family man, a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan, and very outgoing.
Faheem and Taras love was a lifelong commitment.
Left to mourn his loss is his wife, Tara; a daughter, Kellisha (Booker T.) McNeill; a son, Kelan Michael (Lynn) Bilal; his mother, Nettie Evans; a brother, James Evans; two sisters, Patricia Watson and Adilah (Wilson) Bilal-Nadal; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; and friends who loved him dearly and will miss him greatly.
His father, James Evans and mother-in-law, Thelma Seabrook, preceded him in death.
The entrance to the gathering room is the first set of doors past the black iron gate entrance.
Ronald C. Keys
Kachelries, 76
WARREN - Ronald C. Keys Kachelries, 76, passed away at 10:55 p.m. Saturday at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
Ron was born May 31, 1933, in Warren, the son of the late Lloyd Elmer and Janet (Palmer) Kachelries and lived in the area all of his life.
Ron was a 1952 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, where he was State Tennis Champion and was a cheerleader.
Ron was the owner of Ronnie Keys Band and Ronnie Keys and Company Interior Decorating. Ron worked for Vans Furniture in Downtown Warren for many years and was a former member of the Old Erie Lodge No. 3 of Warren.
Ron enjoyed gardening and could be seen around Downtown Warren watering flowers around Court House Square. He was also an avid sports fan.
Ron was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and served during the Korean War.
Ron is survived by his wife of 43 years, the former Shirley J. Gearhart, whom he married Dec. 7, 1965; two daughters Jeanne (Bruce) Hendrickson of Warren and Rhonda Rae (Robert) Hurlbert of New Jersey; nine grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, Ron was preceded in death by two sons, Robert Dale and Gregory Alan Kachelries; a grandson, Clark Angus Hurlbert; and two brothers, Lloyd G. Kachelries and James Kachelries.
Calling hours will take place on Tuesday, July 14, 2009, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Roberts Clark Funeral Chapel, 180 Garfield Drive in Warren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will follow at Crown Hill Burial Park in Vienna.

Mary J. Manno
EAST PALESTINE Mary J. Manno, of North Market St., passed away at 1:02 a.m. Saturday, July 11, 2009, at St. Thomas Hospital in Akron following a brief illness.
Mrs. Manno was born in Freedom, Pa., a daughter of the late Santi and Grace (Lombardo) August and had lived in the East Palestine area since 1934.
She was valedictorian of her senior class at Freedom High School at the age of 16. Mrs. Manno was a homemaker and member of the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She was a member of the Ladies Aid Society, the Christian Mothers, and the Infant Jesus of Prague Guild. Mrs. Manno was also a precinct committee woman, an avid bingo player, and she enjoyed reading, working puzzles, and embroidering. She also loved to bake and cook.
Her husband, Angelo Manno, whom she married Nov. 29, 1934, preceded her in death Jan. 31, 1985.
She is survived and will be dearly remembered by her daughters, Mrs. Norma Jean (Gerald) Borling of Strongsville and Mrs. Mary Ann (Dr. Anthony) Rich of East Palestine; son, Frank A. (Mary Ellen) Manno of Braselton, Ga.; grandson, Frank Joseph Manno of Braselton; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Anthony and Sebastian August; sisters, Helen DiAngi and Josephine Zeno; and a granddaughter.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 14, 2009, at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with the Rev. Daniel Cipar officiating. Burial will follow at St. Marys Roman Catholic Cemetery in Chippewa Township.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. today at the Oliver-Linsley Funeral Home, where a vigil service will be held at 6 p.m.

RICHMOND HEIGHTS John C. Rosace Jr., M.D., 45, died July 11, 2009, at Hospice House in Cleveland
He was born March 17, 1964 in Girard.
John was a pediatrician with an office in Mentor.
He coached football and baseball, was active with Boy Scouts and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan
John is survived by his wife, Regina (Pisaneschi) Rosace; his children, Dominic, Joseph, Samuel, Salvatore, Angelo, Lucia, Vito, Augie and Carmela; his parents, John Sr. and Madeline Rosace; his brothers, David (Pam), Peter (Nichol) and Michael (Michelle) Rosace; his wifes parents, Dan and Sandra Pisaneschi; his brother-in-law, Dan (Melissa) Pisaneschi; and his sister-in-law, Lisa (John) Lambert.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, 2009, at St. Felicitas Church, 140 Richmond Road in Euclid.
Calling hours will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave. in Willoughby.
Interment will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
