Robert W. Agee, 61
POLAND Robert W. Agee, 61, died Saturday, July 18, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Mr. Agee was born Feb. 3, 1948 in Cleveland, a son of Garnald and Cecelia Kuspan Agee.
He was a 1967 graduate of Cardinal Mooney and a member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church in Struthers.
Mr. Agee worked as a furnace operator for Cold Metal Products for 32 years before retiring in 2001.
He was an avid gun enthusiast and he loved, hunting, fishing, camping and most of all, spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, the former Deborah Weese, whom he married Feb. 28, 1970; one son, Robert (Cynthia) Agee of Poland; two daughters, Diana (Todd) Barnes of Chesterfield, Va. and Wendy (James) Behon of Lordstown; nine grandchildren, Jimmy, Alex, Hailey, Nathan, Austin, Logan, Chase, Emily and Reese; and two brothers, Gary Agee of Youngstown and Ron Agee of New Springfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. at the Cunningham Becker Funeral Home in Poland, where services will be held at 11 a.m.
The Agee family would like to thank Dr. Frank Rich, Hospice of the Valley and the ICU staff at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center for all of there love and care given to him during his illness.

Patricia Carlomagno, 85
CANFIELD A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday at noon at St. Luke Roman Catholic Church in Boardman for Patricia Carlomagno, 85, who passed away Friday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Patricia was born Aug. 27, 1923, in Youngstown, a daughter of Albert and Marietta (Carosella) LaCivita
Patricia was a graduate of East High School and received a bachelors degree in Education from Youngstown State University. Her passion was for teaching. She was a 3rd grade teacher at St. Christine School for 25 years, retiring in 1989. Patricia would volunteer her time tutoring children in the summer. She was a member of St. Michael Church, enjoyed traveling and was an excellent cook.
The love of her life, Joseph Henry Carlomagno, whom she married Dec. of 1943, passed away in May of 1990.
Patricia was a dedicated mother to her daughter, Patricia (Ralph) Moretti, and her son, Joseph Carlomagno, both of Canfield. She also leaves a sister, Ann Marie DiPasqua; many nieces and nephews; and her goddaughter, Margaret Nigro.
Besides her parents and her husband, Patricia was preceded in death by two sisters, Rose Petrich and Margaret Grace Fata, and four brothers, Angelo, Ralph, Lawrence, and Louis LaCivita.
The family will be receiving friends from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday at St. Luke Roman Catholic Church.

Edwin G. Dietzel, 89
YOUNGSTOWN Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 22 at the Faith Community Church, 1919 E. Midlothian Blvd. in Youngstown, for Edwin G. Dietzel, 89, who died Friday evening at Hospice House in Poland.
Mr. Dietzel was born July 21, 1919, in Youngstown, a son of the late Edward and Margaret Lepley Dietzel.
He was a locksmith for Krichbaum Key Shop before becoming a regional supplier for Locksmith Supplies in California. When he returned to Youngstown, he worked for Krichbaum Lock and Mower and later became the owner/operator of A-1 Uptown Locksmith Shop.
He was a member of the former Pilgrim Collegiate Church and processed the recording of their services for many years and then a member of the Faith Community Church after the merger of the two churches. He also attended the Highway Tabernacle Church.
Mr. Dietzel was a member of the Pennsylvania and Ohio Locksmith Association and the Association of Locksmiths of America. He enjoyed boating and camping at several local resorts.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John E. Dietzel. He leaves two nephews, Jack K. Dietzel and Ronald E. Dietzel, both of Boardman; and a niece, D. LaVerne Dietzel of Youngstown.
Friends may call for one hour prior to the service at the church.

Joseph R. Rocky Evans, 56
BOARDMAN Services will be at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday at the Bethel Lutheran Church, Boardman for Joseph R. Rocky Evans, who passed away Saturday afternoon at Hospice House surrounded by his family.
He was born Aug. 6,1952, in Youngstown, a son of Thomas and Kathleen Martino Evans, and was a lifelong area resident.
Rocky was a graduate of Boardman High School and belonged to the First Covenant Church. He was a salesman for Bake-Mark and was a terrific baker. He loved his gardening, canning and was an all-around handy man who was always there to help family and friends.
Rocky is survived by his wife, the former Betsy Coco, whom he married March 28,1987; three sons; Ryan (Alysan) Evans of Columbus, Chaz (Helen) Christofil of Lake Hurst, N.J. and Aaron (Megan), also of Columbus; a daughter, Taylor May Evans of Boardman; his mother, Kathleen of Columbiana; four brothers, John Evans, Michael Evans, Thomas Evans and David Evans; four sisters, Kathy Snyder, Nancy Nerti, Diane Yeager and Mary Jo Evans; and four grandchildren, Aiden, Jerico, Quinn and Brenden.
He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas.
Friends may call Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral home, 4700 Market St. in Boardman and Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. at the Bethel Lutheran Church, 425 Crestview Drive in Boardman.

Anne J. George, 88
BOARDMAN Prayers will begin at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at the Fox Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Dominic Church for Anne J. George, 88, who passed away Saturday morning at Beeghly Oaks.
Mrs. George was born April 1, 1921, in Youngstown, a daughter of Joseph F. and Ellen Fahey Drummond and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a 1939 graduate of Ursuline High School. Anne was a member of Saint Dominic Church, its Rosary Altar Society and Junior Seton.
Her husband, Fred S. George, whom she married Dec. 26, 1941, and he died April 3, 1998.
She leaves two sons, Robert F. (Patricia) George of Austintown and Brian P. George of New Springfield; two daughters, Kathleen A. (Tom) Gondel of Youngstown and Colleen T. (Eugene) ODea of Youngstown; four brothers, Thomas J. Drummond of Youngstown, John Paul Drummond of Canfield, James Drummond of Boardman and D. Michael Drummond of Canfield; four sisters, Mariellen Werner of Boardman, Pat Gibson of Youngstown, Louise Dattilo of Boardman and Donna Graham of Boardman; eight grandchildren, Michael Gondel, Joseph Gondel, Therese Gondel, Robert George, Patrick George, Shannon ODea (fiancé Keith Miller), Gene ODea and Shawn Kaufman; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan George, Andrew George and Matthew George.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Joseph Drummond and Paul Drummond and two sisters, Norma Jean Donoghue and Faye Untch.

YOUNGSTOWN Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at The McCauley Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. at St. Columba Cathedral celebrated by the Rev. John Keehner, for Eileen A. Moss, 81, who passed Saturday afternoon at Park Vista Retirement Community.
Mrs. Moss was born Dec. 13, 1927, in Youngstown, a daughter of Clyde and Elizabeth Vincent Newsome.
Mrs. Moss was a homemaker and prior to her marriage was a keypunch operator with General Electric.
She was a member of The Cathedral and a graduate of Ursuline High School. She enjoyed crafts and loved to read and adored her grandchildren.
Her husband, Richard Moss, whom she married Nov. 13, 1967, passed Feb. 16, 1985.
She is survived by her sons, James (Colleen) Jefferis of Phoenix and Richard Jefferis of Youngstown; her daughters, Elizabeth Spoor of Midwest City, Okla., Katherine (John) Kizer of Ninnekah, Okla. and Melissa Karpinski of Hubbard; 19 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandson.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Dr. Joseph Newsome; her sisters, Mary Morgan, Kate Sample and Marge White; and an infant brother and sister.

Mary L. Randel, 89
LOWELLVILLE Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. James the Apostle Catholic Church in New Bedford, Pa., for Mary L. Randel, 89, who passed away Saturday morning at her home.
Mary was born April 28, 1920 in Campbell, the daughter of Anthony and Rose Madura Osso and was a lifelong area resident.
Besides being a homemaker and a member of St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, she very much enjoyed gardening and maintaining her flowers.
Her husband, Warren C. Randel, whom she married Oct. 5, 1946, passed away Aug. 4, 1977.
Mary leaves to cherish her memory, three daughters, Kathy (Bob) Price and Lynn (Kenneth) Krause, both of Lowellville and Denise Naughton of Boardman; a sister, Julia Paul of West Middlesex; seven grandchildren, Michael Krause, T.J. (Megan) Price, Michele (Phil) Lefoer, Jennifer (Stephen) Slaven, Danny (Sarah) Naughton, Jeff (Kim) Naughton and Brian Naughton; and four great-grandchildren, Sidney, Alexis, Michael and Lilliana.
Besides her parents and husband Warren, she was preceded in death by four sisters, Antoinette, Josephine, Katherine and Rose; and three brothers, James, John and Frank.
The Randel family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home of Campbell and will receive friends Tuesday at St. James the Apostle Church in New Bedford from 10 to 11 a.m., prior to the funeral service.
Louise M. Ruchtie, 86
AUSTINTOWN Louise M. Ruchtie, 86, passed away peacefully Friday afternoon, July 17, 2009, at Hospice House in Poland, following a brief illness.
Louise was born Nov. 28, 1922, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late William and Anna Golema Buddervich, and was a lifelong area resident.
She attended St. Casimir Elementary School, was a homemaker, and worked for a brief time as a secretary at St. Elizabeth Hospital and as a clerk at the former Chaney Drugs.
Louise was a member of St. Brendan Church, its Altar & Rosary Society and Social Concerns Committee, and was a Eucharistic Minister at the church. She also volunteered her time at Omni Manor Nursing Home for many years and was active in Pastoral Care at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
She leaves her daughter, Barbara Ann Kovach of Swansea, Ill.; two sons, Paul (Joan) Ruchtie of Canfield and Ronald Ruchtie of Austintown; eight grandchildren, Thomas J. (Ami) Kovach, Paul E. Ruchtie, Kristen E. Ruchtie, Jeffrey Hanuscak, Lisa Hanuscak, Michael (Tara) Hanuscak, Nicholas Hanuscak, and Kathryn (Adam) McMurray; a great-grandson, Joshua Russell Hanuscak; two sisters, Florence Kelesh and Bernice Pugh, both of Youngstown; and several nieces and nephews.
Louise will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Mrs. Ruchties husband, Paul P. Ruchtie, passed away in 1988. Three brothers, William Budd, Andrew Buddrick, and Joseph Budd; three sisters, Sarah Buddrick, Stella Budd, and Helen Kerti; and a son-in-law, Thomas L. Kovach, are also deceased.
A Memorial Mass for Louise will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, at St. Brendan Church in Youngstown, where family and friends may gather from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
