Madeline J. Book, 82
HOWLAND TOWNSHIP Madeline J. Book, 82, surrounded by her loving family, departed this life on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009, at 11.30 a.m., after a heroic 25-year battle with heart disease and emphysema.
Madeline kissed lightly her daughter, Micha, who preceded her in death in October of 1993. She now sleeps free of pain and suffering
Madeline was born in Enterprise, W.Va., on March 22, 1927. She was one of six children to Ara and Phillip OConnor Madeline was a resident of Howland and Warren since 1954.

She also worked at The Buena Vista Café for many years, her Irish spit and vinegar serving her well. She enjoyed rooting for any team playing against the Cleveland Browns and Indians, much to the chagrin of her sons, playing cards, crossword puzzles, dancing, bowling and golf, especially Tiger Woods.
Her spirit, laughter and love will be sadly missed by her lil sister, Betty Fabor of Shinnston, W.Va., sons, Sam and Ron, both of Howland; grandchildren, Dana (Jacque) Mitchell of Canfield, Brett Mitchell of Howland and Chloe-WinterLynn Book of Howland; and great-grandchildren, Ella, Teegan and Brennan Mitchell, Devin Mitchell, Michaela VasBinder and Kylyn Mitchell
