David Lee Anderson, 61
SALEM David Lee Anderson, 61, of 583 East Fourth St. died at 12:35 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at Salem Community Hospital.
He was born Aug. 31, 1948 in Detroit, the son of the late Paul Harry and Gloria (Altomare) Anderson.
David was employed as a machinist at Colfor Manufacturing. He was a 1965 graduate of Edwin Denby High School in Detroit and a member of the U.A.W. Local. He enjoyed bow hunting, cooking and was a great storyteller.
Mr. Anderson served with the U.S. Marines and was a decorated Vietnam veteran.
He is survived by a daughter, Tonya (Darryll) Griffiths of Poquoson, Va.; two sons, Scott Mark Anderson of Glendale, California and Daniel James Anderson of the state of Washington; and Dale Lynn (Mercedes) Anderson of Newtown, Pa. and Teresa Anderson.
Memorial Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Sunday at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home with full military honors provided by the Salem V.F.W. Post 892 and the Salem AMVETS Post 45 Burial Group.
Burial will be at Quantico National Cemetery in Triangle, Virginia.

Maralouise Bagnull, 96
Together Forever
AUSTINTOWN Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Maralouise Bagnull, 96, who passed away Wednesday at Austinwoods Nursing Center.
Maralouise was born Aug. 14, 1913 in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of the late George W. and Mary (Flaugher) Thomas.
She retired from Strouss Department Store, was a member of the Christ Church Presbyterian, and loved needlepoint and reading.
Her husband, Paul I. Bagnull, whom she married July 3, 1941, passed away April 19, 2006.
Maralouise is survived by two sons, William (Patricia) Bagnull of Austintown and Tom (Marlene) Bagnull of Drexel Hill, Pa.; five grandchildren, Sharon (Howard) Conover of Wilmington, Del., Debbie (Rob) Shollenberger of Lansdale, Pa., Robert (Nicole) Bagnull of Wilmington, Del., Michelle (Scott) Smith of Austintown and Kimberly (Chris) Labedz of Streetsboro; and seven grandchildren.

Thomas L. Baldwin, 59
POLAND Services will be on Monday at 10 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown, for Thomas L. Baldwin, 59, who passed away Wednesday evening at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center.
Thomas was born on July 8, 1950 in Youngstown, a son of Willard E. III and Elida A. Lehto Baldwin. He lived in the area his whole life.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War as an Electrical Mate 2nd Class on the USS Neptune. He worked as a Class A electrical mechanic at the GE Service Shop and as a machinist at Winkle Electric, where he retired from in 2004. He was of the Protestant faith. He enjoyed restoring and working on cars. He was a gun enthusiast and a member of the NRA.
He leaves his wife, the former, Clare Cunning, whom he married on June 15, 1985; two sons, Joseph T. Baldwin of Sandy, Utah and Vincent T. Asdel of Youngstown; and one sister, Janice E. Baldwin of Ambridge, Pa.
Thomas was preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and one hour prior to the service on Monday from 9 to 10 a.m. at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown.

Dolly Doyle, 77
HUBBARD Dolly Doyle, 77, died Friday morning, Sept. 18, 2009, at Forum Health Northside Medical Center.
She was born June 17, 1932 in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of Fred and Mary Donley Reider and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Doyle, a homemaker, was a member of St. Patrick Church in Hubbard and a 1952 graduate of New Castle High School. Dolly was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, Jewish Christian Dialogue Classes and the Ladies Catholic Benevolence Association Branch 467.
Dolly loved to perform, in her younger years, she acted with New Castle Faces of 1955, a theatre guild of St. Joseph and St. Vitus Churches. She enjoyed camping and going to Tionesta, Pa. to visit with her special friends at Fawn Acres.
Dolly was known for her musical talent. Often entertaining many with her ukulele and her humor. She also enjoyed writing songs for her friends. Her most recent song was for her dear friend, Fr. Tim. Dolly was the family photographer, always behind the camera, capturing special family moments.
In her later years, Dolly enjoyed traveling to visit her sons and the lights of her life, her granddaughters, Lauren and Claire and her grand dogs, Maggie and Muttley.
Her husband, James Doyle, whom she married June 2, 1956, died April 2, 2005.
She leaves two sons, James A. Doyle Jr. of Aliso Viejo, Calif. and Thomas P. Doyle of Phoenix; two sisters, Sylvia Groves of Hubbard and Erma Theis of Sharon, Pa.; and two grandchildren, Lauren M. and Claire E. Doyle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ralph J. Reider; and a sister, Pearl Kreitzer.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. at the Kelley-Robb Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick Church.

Paul J. Dubaj III, 61
POLAND Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Wasko Funeral Home and at 11:30 a.m. at St. Matthias Catholic Church for Paul J. Dubaj III, 61, who passed away Wednesday evening at St. Elizabeth Boardman Health Center after a long illness.
Paul was born Feb. 23, 1948 in Youngstown, the son of Paul Jr. and Marjorie White Dubaj.
He was a 1966 graduate of Woodrow Wilson High School and went on to serve his country in the U.S. Army and was honorable discharged in 1970. While in the Army, he was a helicopter mechanic, drug law enforcer and a crime investigator. He received the National Defense Medal, the Vietnam Service Medals, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Air Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Air Combat Badge and Medal, Sharpshooter Badge for W/M14 Rifle and the Expert Badge for W/M16 Rifle.
Paul worked for the Post Office as a mechanic for 25 years and then as a driving instructor.
He loved going to Nascar races and was an avid bowler with the Italian American Mixed 4 and also the Jolly League. He enjoyed putting his Christmas decorations and displays up every year. He also loved animals, especially his three toy poodles and more than anything he loved traveling to South Carolina with his wife to be with their grandson, Gavin.
Paul leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Paul and Marge; his wife, the former Rosemary Christmas, whom he married on May 25, 1985; a daughter, Gina (Jeff) Keeley of South Carolina; a grandson, Gavin; a brother, Robert (Pam) Dubaj; and two nieces, Michelle Dubaj and Melissa Dubaj.
The Dubaj family has entrusted their loved one to the care of the Wasko Funeral Home and will receive friends Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m., where there will be a 3:45 p.m. prayer service.

Randy Dean Papa Findlay, 49
WARREN Randy Dean Papa Findlay, 49, passed away Sept. 15, 2009 at his home.
He was born in Canton on Oct. 13, 1959, the son of Richard Findlay and Barbara (John) Lampkin.
Randy was a veteran of the U.S. Army. For all who knew him, he will be remembered as a hardworking, loving husband, who would always be the first to help anyone in need and papa to his granddaughter, Siri, whom he enjoyed walking the trails at Howland Park. He was a member of the Believers Christian Fellowship Church and was an avid Chicago Bears fan.
He married his wife, the former Susan Sexton, on Oct. 11, 2001 by whom he is survived. Also surviving him are his three stepchildren, Joshua Stevens of Warren, Jessica Stevens of Harker Heights, Texas and Julie (Ted) Kester of Youngstown; siblings, Keith (Kelly) Lampkin of Greensburg, Pa. and Tami Lampkin (fiancé Jeff Smith) of Naples, Fla.; an aunt, Yvonne Kinnard; his granddaughter, Siri Goodyear; his father, Richard of Canton; and stepfather, John Lampkin.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Barbara Lampkin in 2004; his unborn son, Jordan Findlay and his step grandson, Joshua Nicholas Stevens, who both passed away in 1999.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Sept. 21, 2009, at the Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren with the Rev Chris Mowrey officiating.
Calling hours will be Sunday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Howland Township Cemetery.

Frances M. Minehart, 92
Together Again
AUSTINTOWN - Funeral services will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. at the Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Frances M. Minehart, 92, who passed away Wednesday evening at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Frances was born Feb. 9, 1917 in Warren, Pa., the daughter of Thomas J. and Mattie Mae (Beebe) Farr and came to this area in the 1940s.
Frances was a waitress at the Colonial House and worked for Carnegie Steel (U.S. Steel) in the early 1940s. She then worked in sales/retail at Strouss Downtown for 14 years, retiring in 1982. Frances was a member of the Austintown Community Church. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Wedgewood Try Hard League.
Her husband, Frank W. Minehart, whom she married Dec. 17, 1949, passed away Oct. 6, 1995.
Frances leaves two daughters, Donna (Lawrence) Oros and Joette M. (Robert) Brocious, both of Austintown; three granddaughters, Lori (Fred) Oros Schaffer, Susan (Steve) Oros Shapiro and Karen (Chip) Oros Smithwick; and seven great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and her husband, Frances was preceded in death by five sisters, Doris Bartsch, Ruth Hewitt, Alice Thompson, Betty Xeros, and Avanelle McBride; and two brothers, Harold and Lawrence Farr.
The family will be receiving friends Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. and Monday from 10 to 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.

Mary Elizabeth Muempfer, 92
YOUNGSTOWN Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the McCauley Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Edward Church for Mary Elizabeth Muempfer, 92, formerly of Halleck Street who passed Thursday evening at Park Vista Retirement Community.
Mrs. Muempfer, who was known as Mayme, was born Dec. 24, 1916 in Niles, a daughter of Henry J. and Cora Trimbur Donegan and was a lifelong member of the community.
Mrs. Muempfer was a 1938 Graduate of St. Elizabeth School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse and a graduate of Mineral Ridge High School.
She was a private duty nurse and was also employed by St. Elizabeth Health Center. She was a member of the church, a former member of St. Rose Church, a member of American Nurses Association, Ohio Nurses Association District 3, St. Elizabeth School of Nursing Alumni Association, Catholic Council of Nurses, St. Rose Senior Citizens and Girard Senior Citizens.
Her husband, John A., whom she married Sept. 7, 1940, passed on April 8, 2007.
Mrs. Muempfer leaves to cherish her memory sons, John Michael (Noreen) of Pinehurst, N.C. and William Edward (Marguerite) of Suttons Bay, Mich.; daughters, Barbara (Ronald) Hagan of Columbus and Marianne (Ronald) Ameen of Hubbard; 10 grandchildren, Mary Anderson, Michael, Kevin, Matthew and Catherine Muempfer, Colleen Campbell, Kelly Hagan, Jeffrey and Jason and Jonathan Ameen; and six great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by brothers, Harry, Paul and Bernard Donegan; and a sister, Estella Donegan.

YOUNGSTOWN There will be a memorial service held on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2009, at 3 p.m. at the Rossi & Santucci Funeral Home, 4700 Market St. in Boardman, for Rodney Neill, 47, who passed away on Tuesday, Sept. 15, 2009.
Rodney will always be remembered and loved by his family and friends.
He was born May 27, 1962 in Youngstown, the son of Arthur and Joyce (Collingsworth) Neill and was a lifelong area resident.
Rodney was the owner of NeillCo Security and retired in 2000.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and received the following decorations, ASR, Rifle M-16 HKM Qual Badge, and Hand Gren SPS Qual Badge.
Rodney enjoyed fishing, coaching his childrens baseball teams, and was a Pittsburgh Steelers fan. .
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, the former Stacey Slepski, whom he married on March 16, 1985; a daughter, Emily and a son Matthew, both at home; his parents, Arthur and Joyce Neill; three brothers, Arthur, Theodore and Robert Neill; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
