Mary Ann Baringer, 72
AUSTINTOWN Funeral services will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel for Mary Ann Baringer, 72, who passed away Saturday at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mary Ann was born Aug. 15, 1937, in Butler, Pa., a daughter of the late Joseph and Adda (Gutherie) Phillips.
She was a member of the Victory Christian Center and had worked as a bookkeeper at Perkins in Canfield.
Mary Ann is survived by her son, Randy (Jennifer) Baringer of Macedonia; and two grandchildren, William Baringer of Austintown and Sarah Baringer of Macedonia.
Besides her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lou Ballard and a brother, Gerald Phillips.

Robert L. Haddle, 88
NEW CASTLE, PA. A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Fox Funeral Home, Boardman, celebrated by pastor Russ Adams, for Robert L. Haddle, 88, who died Saturday morning at Haven Nursing Home in New Castle.
Robert was born in Youngstown on Feb. 7, 1921, a son of Jesse and Matilda Becker Haddle, and was a longtime area resident.
He was a brakeman for P&LE Railroad and was a junk man, who had a junk yard in Coitsville for many years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, who served during WWII, and a member of the Struthers Eagles.
He enjoyed traveling and trips to Atlantic City and loved to make people laugh. He liked gathering things and giving them to his friends and family.
He leaves his two sons, George Haddle of New Bedford, Pa., and Bruce Haddle of Coitsville; a brother, Donald Haddle of Youngstown; a sister, Doris Kilgore of Florida; three grandsons, Mike, Mark and Edward; and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Haddle Macklin, who was a great help to Bob over the last several years.
He was preceded in death by four brothers, Henry Haddle, Walter Haddle, Carl Haddle and Frank Haddle; four sisters, Sally Connor, Jessie LaRossa, Sabina Servinak and Margaret Haddle.

Helen C. Hripko, 94
YOUNGSTOWN Helen C. Hripko, 94, of the citys west side, passed away peacefully late Saturday evening, Oct. 3, 2009, at Briarfield at Ashley Place in Austintown.
Helen was born May 13, 1915, in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Joseph and Johanna Yavorsky Hripko, and was a lifelong area resident.
Miss Hripko was a graduate of Ursuline High School and attended Youngstown College. She worked for Ohio Bell for 40 years, first as a telephone operator and then as a supervisor, retiring in the early 1980s.
Helen was a lifelong member of Holy Name of Jesus Church in Youngstown, and was a member of the Ohio Bell Pioneers and of the Polish Arts Club.
She leaves her sister, Margaret Hripko of Youngstown, with whom she shared her home; a niece, Barbara (Richard) Boughner of Youngstown; a nephew, Joseph III (Mary) Hripko of Dayton; several great-nieces and great-nephews; several great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews; and her friend and caregiver, Cindy Babinski of Warren.
Helen will be truly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Three brothers, Stephen, John and Joseph Hripko, are deceased.
Family and friends may call on Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. at Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road in Youngstown.
Funeral services will begin on Tuesday at 12:30 p.m. at the funeral home and continue at 1 p.m. at Holy Name of Jesus Church on North Lakeview Avenue.
Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.

Gregory M. Kenworthy, 78
BOARDMAN Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Lockwood United Methodist Church for George M. Kenworthy, 78. He went home to God Sunday morning.
Mr. Kenworthy was born Feb. 12, 1931 in Philadelphia, a son of Carl M. and Marjorie Sherman Kenworthy.
He attended Pennsylvania State University and had worked as an insurance agent with Lincoln Financial for 46 years. He retired in 2007. He was a certified life underwriter and a member of Financial Service Professionals for 30 years.
He was a member of the church, enjoyed playing golf and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
Surviving him is his wife, the former Laura Ammon, whom he married July 25, 1965; two sons, Steve Kenworthy of Lima and Jeffery Kenworthy of Kingston, Tenn.; a daughter, Kelly Spicher of Jessup, Md.; six grandchildren, September, Samantha, Steven, Natalie, Kyle and Cameren; and four great-grandchildren.
Preceding him in death besides his parents is his first wife, Monique Kenworthy, who died January 31, 1962 and a daughter, Jacqueline Hafner, who died November 11, 2004.
Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Davis Funeral Home and from 10 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.

Irene H. Kuderca, 74
NEW MIDDLETOWN A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul the Apostle Church in New Middletown for Irene H. Kuderca, 74, who died Saturday morning at her home after battling cancer.
Irene, known as I by all who knew her, was born Feb. 24, 1935 in Poland, Ohio, a daughter of John and Mary Chromc Dubec and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a member of the church and had been a homemaker. She was a graduate of Springfield High School in 1953.
Irene had belonged to several gyms in the area, where she enjoyed socializing with other members. She had also enjoyed traveling to New York City during the Christmas season, a trip she had made with her daughter for over 20 years. She also loved her kitty, Smokey, and all pets in general and she was an avid Bob Dylan fan.
She leaves her daughter, Susie Kuderca of Boardman; a brother, John Dubec of Poland; and two sisters, Mary Romanko of Youngstown and Frances Chaszeyka of New Springfield.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Clemente Funeral Home in New Middletown and from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Wednesday prior to the services at the church.
Nancy Jean Macovitz, 73
STRUTHERS - Nancy Jean Macovitz, 73, died Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Boardman surrounded by her family
Mrs. Macovitz was born May 22, 1936 in Youngstown, a daughter of Paul and Helen McCarty Shaley.
She attended The Rayen School, and was a member of the former Brownlee Woods Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Macovitz loved baking kolachi, and other types of breads. She enjoyed spending time with her family, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by one daughter, Cathy (Paul) Polito of Poland; one son, Paul Macovitz Jr. of Long Beach, Calif.; a sister, Sandy Matricardi of Boardman; and two grandchildren, Ryan and Luke Polito, both of Poland.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved cat, Matilda.

Celina Pintor, 64
YOUNGSTOWN Funeral services will be today at 7 p.m. at the Rossi & Lellio Funeral Home for Celina Pintor, 64, who passed away on Friday, Oct. 2, 2009, at her residence.
Celina was born March 17, 1945 in Yabucoa, Puerto Rico, the daugher of the late Luis and Genovena Fonseca.
She was a homemaker and always enjoyed time with her family.
Her husband, Victor Vazquez, passed away on April 6, 1978.
Surviving are five sons, Jose Vazquez of Youngstown, Victor and Pedro Vazquez of Philadelphia, Carlos Vazquez of Pennsauken, N.J. and Julio Vazquez of Youngstown; and a daughter, Maria Vazquez of Youngstown. She also leaves 27 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
