Donna Richards Jones, 83

CLEARWATER, FLA.– Donna Richards Jones, 83, formerly of Poland, Ohio was born March 7, 1926 in Painesville and moved to Youngstown as a child.

Donna attended Mt. Union College and moved to Poland, where she married Thomas F. Jones.

Donna and Tom, with a handful of friends, founded the Clearwater Bridge Center, which still exists today.

Donna was a Silver Life Master bridge player, an accomplishment that was likely related to her sense of humor and quick wit, her pure enjoyment of other people, and her ability to “roll with the punches.”

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Connors of Clearwater; a son, Jeff Williams of Las Vegas; a grandson, Michael Williams of Seminole, Fla.; three nieces; and four stepsons.
