Pink Ribbon Tea
LIBERTY The Junior League of Youngstown will host its 13th annual Pink Ribbon Tea for area breast cancer survivors at 11 a.m. Monday at the Holiday Inn MetroPlex Center, 1620 Motor Inn Drive.
The luncheon event will feature a door prize raffle, Chinese auction and a keynote presentation by Christine Clifford Beckwith, a humorist, author, professional speaker and breast cancer survivor.
The event is free for breast cancer survivors; however, reservations are required and can be made by calling the league office, (330) 743-3200.
The tea is a project of sustaining members of the Junior League. Susan Berny and Annette Camacci are co-chairwomen, and committee members include Cindy Bennett, Sue Brown, Pat Butto, Ingrid Lundquist, Evelyn Olenick, Anna Marie Newman, Paula Stefanski, JoAnn Stock and Carolyn Stoneburner.
at Perkins Park
WARREN Alzheimer's Association will sponsor the Memory Walk 2007 on Saturday at Perkins Park. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with the walk to start at 9.
Presented nationally by Genworth Financial, the walk is the nation's largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support and research programs.

Grange to hold
EDINBURG, Pa. Mahoning Valley Grange, 1208 Skyhill Road, will serve Swiss steak dinners from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 3. Only 130 dinners will be available. The cost is $8 for adults and $5 for children 4 to 12.
In conjunction with the dinner, an auction of crafts, produce, baked and canned goods, apple butter, fresh pork sausage and chops, and a handmade quilt will be held at 7:30 p.m. There will also be a 50-50 raffle and door prizes. The kitchen will be open during the auction.

Skating Club fundraiser
YOUNGSTOWN The Skating Club of Greater Youngstown will hold a yard sale fundraiser from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at the parking lot of the American Paper Products Co., corner of McClurg Road and Southern Boulevard in Boardman.
Those participating are to take prepriced items to the lot between 6 and 7 p.m. Saturday. All unsold items not picked up between 4 and 5 p.m. Sunday will be donated to a charity. Proceeds will keep ice events affordable for area families.
