Poland outlasts Warren JFK, 2-1, for fifth victory
Julian Acrisewski and Ryan Powell scored three goals each in Lordstown's win.
WARREN Alan Gavolas and Clay Leiton each scored a goal Tuesday as the Poland High boys soccer team defeated Warren JFK, 2-1.
Brian Witt had an assist for the Bulldogs (5-4-1). Goalkeeper Thomas Lange made our saves.
Mike Perisa scored for the Eagles (2-5-2) on an assist from Ed Hazboun.

LIBERTY Ryan Karson's goal on an assist by Eric Saddle pulled Liberty into the tie.
Mike Layshock's goal on an assist from Andrew Watson had given Newton Falls a 1-0 lead.

Ashley Ross and Carley Delisio had an assist apiece. Goalkeeper Ashley Esposito made eight saves.

HANOVERTON Carrie Ritzler scored three goals while Allyson Berry and Amber Uscianowski added two apiece.
Katie Walker, Katie Bretz and Chelsea Paulin also scored for Springfield (5-6 and 1-0 Inter Tri-County League).
Bretz and Melissa Huffman each had two assists for the Tigers.
The goal by United (0-11-2) was scored by Ashley Faust.
Springfield goalkeeper Courtney Paulin made seven saves.
Goalkeeper Darcy Smith made 10 saves in the first half while for Springfield while goalkeepers Allycia Cross and Mary Beeson combined for five saves in the second half.

WARREN Kara Cooper scored four goals and Alyssa Rojas had an assist for Youngstown Christian (5-5-1), which was playing Harding's junior varsity team. The game counts as a varsity win for YCS.
Senior Amanda Vestal had 18 saves one game after-recording a career-high 30 against Badger. Vestal holds the school record with 464 saves.
Ayla Oliver and Eleni Wared scored for the Raiders while Stephanie Cross had seven saves.
