KEEPING UP WITH ... How local NFL players fared Sunday
Jeff Wilkins, Rams (Fitch/YSU) Made 2-of-3 field goals and scored all six points for the offense-challenged Rams in a 33-6 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. Wilkins made field goals from 31 and 29 yards, and was wide right from 44. Wilkins is 12-of-18 on field goals this season and has scored 41 points.
Anthony Smith, Steelers (Hubbard) The former Syracuse standout had two tackles in the Steelers' 31-28 loss to the Denver Broncos Sunday night.
Brad Smith, Jets (Chaney) The former Missouri standout had one catch for 12 yards in the Jets' 38-31 loss to the Bengals. Smith also had two tackles on special teams.
Prescott Burgess, Ravens (Warren Harding) The former Michigan standout played, but did not record any statistics, in the Ravens' 19-14 loss to the Bills.
Marlin Jackson, Colts (Sharon) The Colts play the Jacksonville Jaguars tonight.
