Thomas reaches 100 wins
BELOIT West Branch High boys soccer coach Matt Thomas picked up his 100th career win Wednesday as the Warriors posted a 3-2 victory over Northwest. Logan Schaffer scored two goals for the Warriors and Matt McCain added one. Tate Drennen had an assist.
JVs: West Branch, 3-0.

NORTH LIMA The Rebels put the game away in the first half with eight goals.
Aaron Stewart scored four goals and had three assists to pace the Rebels (10-2, 6-0 Inter Tri-County League). Austin Elwonger added three goals, Brian Bechtel two and Greg Bing and Mitchell See one apiece.
Harding 2, Beaver Local 0
WARREN Senior center-midfielder James Teagarden and senior sweeper Aaron Elder had the second-half goals for Harding (4-6).
Teagarden scored with 8:15 remaining, then Elder's penalty kick came at 0:45.
Junior Dmitri Fournis had the assist on Teagarden's goal.

Boardman 2, GlenOak 2
CANTON Phil Curl and Vic Kudav each scored a goal in the Federal League game. T.J. Hosa had an assist. JVs: Tie, 2-2

POLAND Maureen Malone scored a goal and two assists to lead Poland past Canfield, 3-1.
Shelby Ludt and Sam Robertson also scored goals while Kelly Storkel earned as assist on Malone's goal.
Poland (9-1-1, 7-1-1 Metro Athletic Conference) goalkeeper Pam Shure made nine saves.
For Canfield (6-2-1, 4-2-1), Hallie Seiser scored and goalkeeper Anokha Padubidri made seven saves. Both of Canfield's losses were to Poland.
JVs: Poland, 2-0.
Howland 9, East Liverpool 0
HOWLAND Melissa Kohn and Megan Long each scored two goals for the Tigers (8-0-2, 7-0-1 MAC). Also scoring were Olivia Wilson, Jessica Wilson, Kaylin Hovance, Elana Maksimoff and Megan McGuire .
Kohn, Chelsea Palma and Abby Nicholas each had two assists. With one were Hovance, Britany Martorana and Tyler Nicholas.

Boardman 1, Canton GlenOak 0
BOARDMAN Sophomore forward Chloe Zidian had the goal at the 32:23 in the second half for Boardman.
Jessica Winters, a junior forward, had the assist for the Spartans (8-2-1, 3-1 Federal League).

Lake 3, Fitch 0
AUSTINTOWN Nicole Mougel scored two goals and Jessica Wilson scored the other for the Blue Streaks (4-4-1, 3-2 FL). Fitch (4-7, 2-3) goalkeeper Kara Calai made 13 saves.
Maplewood 2, Badger 1
MECCA Sophomore Chelsie Wolfe had both goals for Maplewood (8-2), which won the Northeastern Athletic Conference outright with a 5-0 record.
