CANCELLATIONS | Area basketball
Tuesday's Beaver Local at Crestview boys basketball game was one of many in the Mahoning Valley that were postponed because of snow. The makeup date for Beaver Local-Crestview will be Saturday, with the junior varsity game beginning at 6 p.m.
Also in the Inter Tri-County League, the Mineral Ridge at East Palestine game will be made up on Saturday, with a 2 p.m. tipoff for the JVs. The Western Reserve at Wellsville game will be made up on Saturday, with a 6 p.m. tipoff for the JVs. The Lowellville at Southern game will be made up on Feb. 21 at 7:30 p.m.
In the Metro Athletic Conference, the Canfield at Salem game will be made up Saturday with a 6 p.m. tipoff for the JVs. The Poland at East Liverpool game will be made up on Saturday at the same time. The Struthers at Howland game will be made up on Feb. 23 at 7:30 p.m. Also, the Canfield at Campbell game has a makeup date of Feb. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
In the Trumbull Athletic Conference, three games were postponed until Saturday — Girard at Champion and Hubbard at Newton Falls, both at 7 p.m.; and Brookfield at Liberty at 7:30 p.m. Lakeview at LaBrae was postponed, but no makeup date has been set as yet.
The Kennedy Catholic at Jamestown game was moved to Saturday at 2:30 p.m. Saturday's Farrell-Kennedy Catholic game was canceled.
Today, the Boardman at Canfield girls game remains scheduled, with a 6 p.m. tipoff for the JVs.
