Scrappers' slump continues in 13-3 loss to Renegades

FISHKILL, N.Y. — A six-run fifth inning propelled the Hudson Valley Renegades to a 13-3 victory over the Mahoning Valley Scrappers in a New York-Penn League game Tuesday night.

The outburst snapped a 3-3 tie and sent the Scrappers (15-18) to their second straight loss and seventh in their last 10 games.

Adam White had three hits and stolen bases for the Scrappers, while Jansy Infante added a pair of singles.

Mike McCormick's bases-loaded triple highlighted the Renegades' six-run rally.
