Orlando, Fla. In game one, Lindsey Royer (3-1) tossed a complete game, striking out 10, without surrendering a walk. She also led the Raiders (5-1) at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, and four RBI. Anna Horning was 2-for-2 while Cortney Frederick was 2-for-3. In game two, Mount Union trailed 7-5 before scoring four times in the top of the seventh. The rally was highlighted by a go-ahead two-run single from outfielder Meghan Allen. Royer (4-1) picked up her second win of the day, tossing another complete game with seven strikeouts. Allen finished 2-for-4 while third baseman Karly Tennant was 3-for-4 with a double. Crystal Thomas was also 3-for-4.
On March 9, Mount Union battles Methodist (N.C.) and Rutgers-Camden (N.J.) in Panama City Beach, FL.
