First it was a best-selling novel. Then came a movie deal. Now the "Da Vinci Code" is a guidebook.
The new Fodors title ($14.95), on sale now, takes the traveler from Paris to Rome to London, and points beyond.
It also includes a 12-day itinerary, following the trail in Dan Brown's thriller.
Included are hotel, restaurant and shopping suggestions all with a "Code" connection.
Museum tour offered
to Alzheimer's patients
New York's Museum of Modern Art is offering an interactive tour to people in the early to middle stages of Alzheimer's disease.
The tour will be from 2:30 to 4 p.m. May 23.
The program, open to patients, their family members and caregivers, is free.

After a skiing accident left Craig P. Kennedy paralyzed, he and Andrea C. Jehn, lifelong outdoor enthusiasts, wrote "Access Anything: Colorado, Adventuring With Disabilities" (Fulcrum Publishing, $15.95).
The book is organized by geographic areas within the state but also features chapters on winter and summer travel and national and state parks.

American Girl Place is heading to Los Angeles.
The popular store now has outlets only in Chicago and New York.
The West Coast facility will open April 22 at The Grove.
Visitors will be able to shop the store's boutiques for dolls, books and clothing, experience tea in the contemporary cafe or watch a live performance of "The American Girls Revue" in the American Girl Theater.
The Grove, which features shops, cinema, restaurants and a day spa, connects to the historic Farmers Market.

Lucky Strike Lanes, a string of upscale bowling alleys, is expanding.
The latest addition to the dozen recreation hot spots is in Chicago.
The tony playground has 18 bowling lanes with automatic scoring, a wine lounge with five fireplaces, three full-service bars, 11 billiard tables, a 100-seat sports lounge and eatery, a DJ/VJ booth, and 22 plasma screens and 18 projectors throughout the facility.
Lucky Strike has been featured in print and on television. The first alley opened in Hollywood, Calif., in 2003.
