Leroy Floyd, 57

YOUNGSTOWN – Leroy Floyd, 57, of 1133 Verona Ave., departed this life at 1:03 p.m. Monday, Nov. 19.
He was born Dec. 17, 1949, the son of Jimmy and Rosie Leonard Floyd.
Mr. Floyd was a graduate of South High School and the Mahoning Valley Vocational School in Culinary Arts. He was a member of the NAACP and enjoyed playing cards and cooking.
He leaves to mourn his mother, Rosie Floyd; a son, Tywan Harzeez of Baltimore; a brother, Douglass “Fluff” (Patti) Floyd of Youngstown; and a sister, Luella Ware of Youngstown.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jimmy Floyd, and a brother, Kenneth Floyd.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Sterling-McCullough Williams Funeral Chapel in Youngstown, with calling hours one hour prior to services.
The family will receive friends at the home of Leroy’s brother, Douglass Floyd, at 152 W. Philadelphia.
