Edward J. Wrobleski, 86

“Together in Heaven Forever”
BERLIN CENTER – Edward J. Wrobleski, 86, of 14265 Berlin Station Road, passed away late Christmas morning at Horizon Village in Warren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ed was born Oct. 8, 1920 in Youngstown, a son of the late Martin and Tillie Sophie Zaluda Wrobleski, and moved to Berlin Center about 30 years ago.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII and received two Purple Hearts.
Mr. Wrobleski worked for General Fireproofing for 38 years, retiring from the pressroom in September 1982. He was a member of SS. Cyril and Methodius Church.
He enjoyed gardening and his 30 years of country living.
He leaves a son, Martin (Cheri) Wrobleski of Niles; two daughters, Barbara Kolcun of Youngstown and Joan (James) Pope of Berlin Center; a sister, Josephine Moderelli of Youngstown; six grandchildren, Ryan, Jamie, Kim, Kelli, Marisa, and David; and three great-grandchildren, Corey, Derek, and Dreauna.
His wife, Mary Ann Chenosky Wrobleski, whom he was married for almost 60 years, died Jan. 11, 2006. A brother, Raymond Wrobleski; and a sister Mary Wrobleski are also deceased.
A memorial service will take place Friday, Jan. 5, at 10:30 a.m. at SS. Cyril and Methodius Church. Family and friends are welcome to attend.
A committal service with military honors will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Kinnick Funeral Home, 477 N. Meridian Road, Youngstown.
