Audrie L. Thompson, 82

POLAND – Audrie L. Thompson, 82, died Friday afternoon at Omni Manor.
She was born Jan. 15, 1924 in New Castle, Pa., a daughter of Edmund F. and Helen Rae Fox.
Mrs. Thompson was a 1941 graduate of New Castle High School. She was a homemaker, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in New Castle.
Her husband, John F. Thompson, whom she married June 20, 1942, died June 19, 1998.
She is survived by a daughter, Jeanne T. (Henry) Rostan of Youngstown; a son, Don Rae (Carolyn) Thompson of Poland; a brother, Donald H. (Mary Lou) Fox of Dayton; three grandchildren, J. Michael Thompson of Poland, Jessica R. Thompson of Mendocino, Calif. and Benjamin E. (Heather) Rostan of Poland.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Thomas W. Thompson; and a sister, Shirley Fox Palmer.
Family and Friends may call Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Cunningham-Becker Funeral Home, Poland and from 12:30 to 1 p.m. Wednesday, where services will be held at 1 p.m.
Interment will follow in Poland Riverside Cemetery.
