Arlene (Eileen) Welsh, 80

YOUNGSTOWN – Services will be Saturday at 9:15 a.m. at the McCauley Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church for Arlene (Eileen) Welsh, 80, who passed Tuesday morning at Hospice House.
Miss Welsh was born July 25, 1926 in Youngstown, a daughter of Edward and Margaret Mary Mahoney Welsh and was a lifelong member of the community.
She was a homemaker, a member of the church and enjoyed doing crossword puzzles.
She is survived by four sisters, Dorothy Welsh, with whom she made her home, Catherine Cvengros of Campbell, Colletta Davis of Scranton, Pa., and Jean Cherol of Hubbard; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Misses Patricia, Margaret Mary and Jane Louise; and a brother, John Edward Welsh.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of Hospice House for their caring and compassionate care.
