Karen Ann Stevens, 52

AUSTINTOWN – A service celebrating the life of Karen Ann Stevens will be held at 7 p.m. Monday evening at the Lane Funeral Home, Austintown Chapel. Karen passed away Friday morning in Briarfield at Ashley Circle.
She was born July 29, 1954 in Youngstown, the daughter of John and Margaret (Porvaznick) Tablack and was a lifelong area resident.
She was a graduate of Struthers High School and was a 1976 graduate of Y.S.U., where she graduated with honors in nutrition. She was an avid crafter and enjoyed cooking.
Besides being a loving wife and mother, she worked for the Burger King Corporation at the route 46 store from September 2002 until October 2006.
Besides her parents of Struthers, Karen leaves her husband, James Stevens, whom she married May 26, 1978; two children, Joe of Austintown and Kyle at home; one grandson; Connor James “CJ” of Austintown; a twin sister, Kathy Hamilla and a niece, Rachel Hamilla, both of Struthers; and her mother-in-law, Helen DeLarratta of Niles. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
