Cora Lee Hudson, 73

YOUNGSTOWN – Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 20, at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church for Mrs. Cora Lee Hudson, 73, who departed this life Monday, Jan. 15, at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mrs. Hudson was born July 4, 1933 in Tunica, Miss., a daughter of Ike and Bertha Reed McKinney.
She was a 1951 graduate of East High School and worked for 41 years as a baker at Kravitz Delicatessen, Inc. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and its Senior Usher and Mission Ministries and a former member of the Order of Eastern Stars. She loved to cook, enjoyed game shows and bingo.
Her husband, Nathan, whom she married Feb. 8, 1969, passed away July 16, 1992.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory three children, Mary Glover, Linda (Lorenzo) Johnson and Richard Hill, all of Youngstown; stepchildren, Barbara Buchanan, Estella Hudson, Donna (Frankie) Brown, Diane Poindexter, Nathan Jr., Eddie, Jessie Lee, Rev. Charles, Thomas and Rocky Hudson and Stanley Poindexter, all of Youngstown, Dr. Francis Bliss of Huntsville, Ala., and Donald (Carol) Hudson of Atlanta; two sisters, Nettie Buckley and Lucille McKinney both of Youngstown; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, including three she reared, Monique Talley, Richard Phillips and Nikkia Hudson; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Hudson, and three brothers, Moses, Camble and Ike McKinney.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
