Edward J. Ochman, 72

BOARDMAN – There will be a memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24 at St. Christine Church for Edward J. Ochman, 72, who died of cardiac arrest Friday at his residence.
Edward, known as “Ned” was born March 10, 1934 in Youngstown, a son of the late Michael and Marie Lavaty Ochman.
He graduated from Ursuline High School in 1952, he attended Dayton University and was a Navy veteran. Ned worked in Sales in the transportation industry.
He relished spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid golfer and fisherman and loved spending time at the ocean.
He leaves his daughters, Michelle Marie (Douglas) Beller of Hollywood, Fla., Joy Marie (Brian) Hart of Westervile; three grandchildren, Brittany and Andrew Beller and Maxwell Hart.
His former wife, Joyce (Reardon) Ochman, passed away in Sept. 13, 2006 after a five-year battle with lung cancer.
Besides his parents and former wife, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Cheri Ann Ochman and Christine Ochman.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Thompson Funeral home, 4221 Market St. in Youngstown.
