Lucy Chill, 91
HUBBARD Lucy Chill, 91, formerly of New Castle, Pa., entered eternal rest Sunday, Jan. 21, at Liberty Health Care Center.
She was born April 2, 1915 in Boyers, Pa., the daughter of the late Andrew and Philomena (Campana) Print.
She was a member of St. Rose Church in Girard and was active in their renewal program. She also participated in the Sacred Heart Retreat House Renewal Program in Liberty. She was a former member of St. Vitus Church in New Castle, participating in their Alter and Rosary Society and the PTA for St. Vitus School.
Her husband, Nicholas T. Chill, whom she married June 22, 1937, passed away March 31, 1992.
Lucy was a devoted mother and grandmother and is survived by six sons, Richard (Edie) Chill of Houston, Thomas (Pat) Chill of Warren, David Chill of New Castle, William Chill of New Haven, Conn., Regis (Angie) Chill of Girard and Martin (Mindee) Chill of Austintown; five daughters, Rita Letorneau of Lowellville, Cathy (Paul) Milligan of Youngstown, Susan (J.V.) Ferrara of Hubbard, Evelyn (Anthony) Ciccone of Austintown and Christine Fisher of Girard; two brothers, Edward Print and Donald Print, both of New Castle; three sisters, Helen Dardynski of Colorado, Annabell Lowrey of Colorado, and Grace Papst of Texas.
She is also survived by 23 grandchildren, Karen, Kay, Pam, Steven, Tony, Christy, Tom Jr., Kevin, Valerie, Sarah, Amy, Shelley, Frank, Jeremiah, Zechariah, Nick, Matthew, Jessica, Emily, Jacob, Anthony, Zachary and Cassidy; and 16 great-grandchildren, Morgan, Kelly, Janie, Peyton, Andrew, Katelyn, Hannah, Jacob, Haley, Skyler, Julia, Andrew, Cameron, Samantha, Danielle and Elisha
Besides her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Jane Jermakowicz; a brother, Louis Print; and two sisters, Veronica Randall and Mary Pica.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at the McClurkin Funeral Home in Girard.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Rose Church with prayers at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Tod Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown.
