Marilyn H. Parry, 84
BOARDMAN There will be services Friday at 11 a.m. at the Davis Funeral Home for Marilyn H. Parry, 84, of Boardman who passed away Sunday morning at Shepherd of the Valley in Niles.
Mrs. Parry was born Feb. 18, 1923 in Cleveland, a daughter of Leslie F. and Jean C. Kahl Heinle.
She was a graduate of Youngstown State University with a bachelors degree in Literature. She attained her real estate license and worked as an agent with Del Reality. In keeping with her love of reading and miniatures, she owned and operated Lyns Doll House Shop until she retired in 2001.
Marilyn was a member of the Boardman United Methodist Church. She was active with the church as chairwomen of the annual Antique Show and Sale and organizing regular visits to area nursing homes. She had also been a member of the Friends of the Boardman Library, Ohio Genealogical Society and the Canfield Writers Group.
Her husband, Dr. Robert W. Parry, whom she married June 22, 1946, died Nov. 9, 1998.
Surviving her are three sons, Robert W. Parry of Austintown, Richard E. Parry of Angier, N.C. and David A. Parry of Boardman. Also two granddaughters, Jean Parry of South River, N.J. and Remi Parry of Angier, N.C.
Preceding her in death besides her husband, are her parents.
Friends may call Thursday from 5 to 7 p.m. and Friday 10 to 11 a.m. both at the funeral home.
