Phyllis Rae Pallante, 75
YOUNGSTOWN Phyllis Rae Pallante, 75, passed away Saturday, July 26, 2008 at her residence in Youngstown.
She was born June 11, 1933 in Youngstown, the daughter of the late Dominic Pauline and the late Nellie (Sylvester) Pauline.
She was the wife of Neil L. Pallante, whom she married July 4, 1953.
She leaves her husband, Neil Pallante of Youngstown; daughters, Diane Lynn Pallante of Santa Cruz, Calif., Joyce Rae (David) Bozanich of Boardman, Lorraine Sue (Jeffrey) Bees of Springfield Township; son, Neil D. Pallante of San Clemente, Calif.; sister, Anita (Mike) Castronova of Canfield; brother, Dominic G. (Cookie) Pauline of Struthers; son-in-law, Phil Grodski of Columbiana; and grandchildren, Paul Vidal, Jessica and Jamie Fennisey, Paloma and Andre Pallante, and Eoghan and Hugh Bees.
Rae was preceded in death by her parents; and her daughter, Linda Grodski.
She was a member of St. Christine Church and a 1951 graduate of The Rayen School.
She was a good wife, mother, friend, and excellent cook. She enjoyed ceramics, her cousins club and gardening, and liked to paint.
Calling hours will be at the Fabrizio Funeral Home, 619 Indianola Ave. in Youngstown, today, July 29, from 4 to 7 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 to 9:30 a.m.
Her services will follow at St. Christine Church at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30.
The family requests that contributions may be made at the funeral home for various organizations.
