Stevayah Juanita Slade, 4 months

YOUNGSTOWN – A Homegoing celebration to honor the life of Ms. Stevayah Juanita Slade, 4 months, will be held Monday at 1 pm at the J.E. Washington Funeral Home with Rev. Elenora Felder officiating.
Stevayah was born Oct. 10, 2008, in Youngstown, a daughter of Stephen Slade and Donna Wright.
She was transferred to Akron Children’s Hospital on Oct. 23, 2008. On Nov. 27, 2008 she was able to return home to her loving parents.
Stevayah enjoyed eating every two hours faithfully, watching television and being soothed by her pacifier. She also enjoyed playing with her twin sister, Stevonna Slade and her parents.
Stevayah’s smile brought joy to everyone around here. She has touched the lives of her family and she will truly be missed.
On Feb. 23, 2009 our heavenly Father cast his eternal light onto St. Elizabeth’s Health Care Center and beckoned his angel home.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her parents; her twin sister; her maternal grandparents, Monique and Gary Benjamin; her paternal grandparents, Sharon Slade, Lloyd (Cheryl) Watkins; three aunts; and four uncles, all of Youngstown; and a host of other relatives and dear friends.
She was greeted in heaven by her great-grandmothers Juanita Baker, Bernice Wright and her aunt, Kelly Slade
The family will receive friends Monday, one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Belmont Park Cemetery.
