Gerald Stephen “Jerry” Kolesar, 57

YOUNGSTOWN – Gerald Stephen “Jerry” Kolesar, 57, passed away unexpectedly at 10:17 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009, at St. Elizabeth Health Center of an apparent heart attack suffered at home.
He was born May 1, 1952 in Youngstown to Steven and Mary (Cicuto) Kolesar.
A Navy veteran, Jerry attended South High School and was a self-employed barber. He enjoyed the Cleveland Browns and being with his friends. Everyone will remember him for his great sense of humor.
He is survived by a son, Steven Kolesar of Independence; daughter, Pamela (Justin) McFadden of Pickerington; two grandsons, William Edward McFadden and Maximus Andrew McFadden; two brothers, Jack Kolesar of Boardman and Jeff (Francie) Kolesar of Niles; and a sister, Janet (Richard) Kolesar-Lis of Findley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Judy Kolesar; and sister-in-law, Connie Kolesar.
The funeral will be Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, at 11 a.m. at the Calvary Cemetery Chapel in Youngstown.
Arrangements are being handled by the Holeton-Yuhasz Funeral Home in Niles.
