Ted Charles Endress, 65
BOARDMAN Funeral Services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. at the Kubina-Yuhasz Funeral Home, 5925 Market St. in Boardman for Ted Charles Endress, 65, who passed away Thursday morning at Hospice House.
Ted was born March 14, 1944 in Youngstown, a son of Clifford and Naomi Tidswell Endress.
Graduating from East High School in 1963, Ted served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam War, attaining the rank of Sergeant upon his discharge.
He was employed as a letter box mechanic for the U.S. Postal Service for 35 years, retiring in 1999. He was also a member of St. Matthias Church.
Ted is survived by his wife, the former Carole Baytos, whom he married March 14, 1983; his three daughters, Kathleen (Eric) Davies of Mineral Ridge, Cindy (Curt) Endress-Lind of Chesapeake, Va. and Susan (Sean) Frano of Struthers; his two stepsons, Andrew (Linda) Schengeli and Stephen Schengeli, both of Columbus; his brother, Gary Endress of Austintown; his sister, June Hoetzel of Poland; and his nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Costello, whom he married July 20, 1968, and who died May 2, 1982; his son, Thomas Endress; his brother, Terry Endress; his sister, Margaret Caruso; and his half sister, Shirley Harness.
Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m., as well as from 10 to 11 a.m. on Monday.
A prayer service will also be held at the funeral home on Sunday at 1:45 p.m.
Interment will take place at Lake Park Cemetery, where a Marine Honor Guard ceremony will be conducted.
