David Tribble Jr., 78

YOUNGSTOWN – There will be funeral service at noon on Friday, Aug. 18, at the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home for David Tribble Jr., 78, who departed this life Friday at St. Elizabeth Health Center.
Mr. Tribble, also known as Nippinese, was born March 31, 1928 in Youngstown, a son of David Sr. and Essie L. Allen Tribble.
He worked for the U.S. Steel Corporation and served in the Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the New Bethel Baptist Church.
He leaves his companion, Laura L. Davis; a son, David Tribble III at home; a stepson, John (Janeen) Davis III of Cleburne, Texas; and grandchildren, David Tribble IV at home, Cushena Tribble and James Tribble, both of Germantown, Md., Sgt. John Davis IV of Hawaii and Brandon David of Cleburne.
His parents and siblings, James and Edward Tribble, Corrine Thomas, Arvilla Wallace, Essie Rhodes and Bertha Johnson, preceded him in death.
Viewing will be from noon to 4 p.m. Thursday and friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
