Quinton M. Floyd, 23

YOUNGSTOWN – Quinton M. Floyd, 23, departed this life Sunday.
He was born Nov. 14, 1983, the son of Ronnie Hill and Linda Floyd in Youngstown.
He was a 2002 graduate of The Rayen School and participated in track, football, choir and band. He was currently attending Clarion University majoring in business.
Mr. Floyd served in the U.S. Navy and ran track for the Emanon Jaguars for four years and competed nationally. He attended Centenary United Methodist Church and was a member of St. Anthony Prayer Band and enjoyed skating and playing with his nieces and nephews.
He is survived by his parents; a brother, Malcolm Floyd of Youngstown; two sisters, Bianca Hill of Columbus and Jeanine McClellan of Youngstown; his grandmothers, Mary A. Smith and Minnie B. Floyd, both of Youngstown; grandfather, William R. Colvin of Youngstown; godmother, Patricia Patterson of Youngstown; a niece, Aija Clarett; two nephews, J’Alfred Clarett and Ty’Sean Floyd of Youngstown; a godson, Andre McCoy Jr.; and a host of family and friends.
Quinton was preceded in death by a brother, Wesley W. McClellan Jr. and his grandfather, Arnold Smith.
Calling hours will be today from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Centenary United Methodist Church where funeral services at 11 a.m. today.
