William L. Depp, 73

HOWLAND TOWNSHIP – William L. Depp, 73, died at 4:15 p.m. Thursday at Forum Health Trumbull Memorial Hospital.
He was born Dec. 22, 1933 in Hamilton, Pa., a son of the late Henry Wade and Mary C. (Smith) Depp, and lived in Howland since 1965 coming from Punxsutawney, Pa.
Mr. Depp retired in 1991 from Packard Electric in Warren, where he worked 27 years as service general in Plant 10. He previously worked for Smith Trucking in Oliveburg as a truck driver moving heavy equipment. He was an avid hunter and a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed playing cards.
He is survived by his wife, Florence Maxine (Horner) Depp, whom he married May 4, 1957; a son, William F. (Sherry) Depp of Austintown; a daughter, Janice E. (Matthew) Stone of Champion Township; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Henry (Elizabeth) Depp of Punxsutawney and Paul (Jane) Depp of Allegheny, N.Y.; and a sister, Judy M. (Samuel) Dinger of Stanton, Pa.
A brother, Harold Depp, and a sister, Jean Leasure, both preceded him in death.
Arrangements are being handled by Roberts-Clark Funeral Chapel in Warren, where the family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday with a service to follow at the funeral home at 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 31, at the Oliveburg Presbyterian Church in Oliveburg, Pa., where friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Burial will be at Olive Cemetery in Oliveburg.
